The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau PC, MP, the Prime Minister of Canada, has been invited by His Excellency the Honorable Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, for a state dinner at the White House on March 10, 2016. This marks the first time that a Canadian prime minister has been a guest at a White House state dinner in nineteen years.

Key issues that the leaders are set to discuss include Canada's participation in the United States-led bombing campaign against Islamic militants in Syria and Iraq, now that the parliamentary mandate for Canada's involvement is about to draw to a close; and, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a package agreed to by our previous prime minister during the election campaign, but which has not yet been ratified by the Parliament of Canada.

Do you suppose trudOwe will be asking for instructions on how to fuk up the economy or will he wing it?

Well, I think they are probably going to have more than enough to talk about just on the TPP, and Operation IMPACT.

In any case, though, if early signs are any indication, it appears that the Prime Minister is actually going to be relying on ministers to take the lead on their respective areas of policymaking! I look forward to seeing less centralization of power in the Prime Minister's Office and, to that end, on questions of the economy, I look forward to seeing what the Government is going to be able to accomplish with the experience and leadership of Mr. Trudeau's ministers.

Well considering trudOwe picked his ministers based on being PC rather than merit expect major damage in all areas.

...ah, you're one of those.

Well, so far, it appears that this Cabinet is spectacularly equipped to take on the executive government of the country. You did not seem terribly concerned about the merit of the previous Government's ministerial appointments, and some of them were pretty embarrassing.

And recognizing that all genders should be involved in political leadership together is not "PC," it's common sense.

I think the trick is to find resources that are knowledgable and you can trust................... might be a pretty tricky combination! :)

A realist?

Really?

Tax cuts for the middle class not being covered by the increases for higher classes, as proclaimed.

Everyone but the Liberals saw the error in that math, BEFORE the election.

Importing 25,000 refugees before the 1st.

How'd that work out?

The use of govt planes to bring wealthy, privately sponsored Syrian immigrants to Canada. While real refugees, Syrian or otherwise, had to wait for the photo op to end.

Oh ya, you're right Five, very wise govt.

And recognizing that all genders should be involved in political leadership together is not "PC," it's common sense.
That's not what Trudeau did.

...ah, you're one of those.

... The typical rebuttal for one that lacks a substantive and material answer to what was a reasonable comment.

With this in mind, allow me to rephrase the comment posed by taxslave as a question;

Do you believe that the best interests of Canadians will be served and the most effective policy formation and delivery of said services will be achieved via political correctness or through having the various Ministries made up of the best qualified persons with experience in the respective depts?

Well, so far, it appears that this Cabinet is spectacularly equipped to take on the executive government of the country. You did not seem terribly concerned about the merit of the previous Government's ministerial appointments, and some of them were pretty embarrassing.

I am very curious how it is possible that you can comment on the how well 'equipped' the Cabinet is to operate the executive branch considering the deep lack of experience that exists.

As has been insinuated earlier, it appears that you are toeing the party line as opposed to offering any tangible objectivity.
