Red herring. The women aren't instructed to worship in a female only mosque, they are instructed to arrive through a side door, keep their heads covered and not to address the mosque. If you honestly think this is equivalent to men and women using different washrooms, you're as self-deluded and confused as Trudeau.

So that's what they do at that mosque. It's not government policy, so who cares.

I'm more worried about illegal polygamy in the GTA.

I don't know why people want to change something which is thousands of years old
It is like me showing up at a Masonic lodge ,a church, etcand try to rearrange objectives,
If you think you are so influential go for it

Who said anything about changing it? Its not part of this country's traditional culture and doesent align with Canadian values. why is our PM supporting it, particularly a PM who brags up his feminist motivation because...you know...2015.

Its crazy how our numpty PM either can't see or won't acknowlege his glaring double standard, and amazing that theres enough fools who support his hollow platitudes and refuse to hold him to his own standard which he has set.

He is a hypocrite born and bred but "he's so handsome" Canadians don't give a crap that he has no substance!

JMO
Sadly a very accurate summation.
Again, during class time, a male will lead prayers with the boys at the front of the room. The girls will be behind them, partially hidden behind overturned cafeteria tables. Menstruating girls will be isolated far behind the other girls, a cruel segregation that I dealt with in a column on Monday.

Article is dated but not as much as the muslim view of women, that junior a proclaimed feminist can ignore reality in favour of a photo op be a valid measure of how superficial he really is. The mosqueteria caused a public outcry and I don't know how or if it was resolved but junior being a mere politician can't be expected to respect public opinion or in his case women.

So what should he do when with those Jewish sects that separate women and men?

Cause, you know, Jewish women are not allowed at the Wall to pray. They're fighting for that right today, but that's not something they are legally supposed to do last I was aware.

So you going to say he should mic drop Jewish faiths?

What wall?

Storm in a tea cup. Public change rooms and public washrooms are segregated in Canada too.

But the swimming pools, racquetball courts, hockey rinks etc. are not

First, what does that have to do with this article

second, this is Canada, not the UNITED SL*TS OF AMERICA.

That's pretty misoginistic of you.

The 3 female MP need to be outed and publicly shamed by all Canadian women, for accepting to be demeaned in such an insulting manner. They compromised their integrity by showing their willingness 'to kiss JT's ***" at any cost. Total embarrassment to all woman in Canada.

Oh come on. I had to cover my head at a Sikh temple once. It is what it is. Again, as long as it's not government policy, it's not my business.

I've attended plenty of Catholic masses and without exception the priest was male.

I've attended Protestant services, and at least at the one's I'd attended were all led by a man.

Some religions are different of course, but it would be ridiculous to impose the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms on a Church.

JT is either really confused or addicted to cameras, he attends and loudly proclaims gender equality at queer events supporting wynne then he attends a mosque with three gals in tow to demonstrate religious freedom I guess. Can't knock gender equality as that is a honourable goal but where does JT stand, proclaim it on yonge st. but not in a mosque. Unless I missed it gender equality was never mentioned, he'll hafta divide his strong principles again quite soon as the polygamy train gains steam. Scruples n' principles are such a drag for a leader, JT might as well keep on following in his late fathers foot steps n' simply ignore such trivial stuff.

Did you ever go to a catholic church and see the women sitting at the back ?

Governments of course have no business in the bedrooms of the nation . I remember a key liberal plank before they had business in the bedrooms of the nation , now of course they no longer have business in the nation's bedrooms .

They [libs] have made the bedroom their pet business priming tender aged kids in the joys of enjoying their own toys and embracing others with like toys. Allowing kids to be kids under their parents wing and discover for themselves what turns their crank is a sexual freedom that government forbids. What do kids or parents know about intimate relationships anyway so it is imperative that government impose their bedroom agenda.
Don't have a clue on what you are meaning, sounds like something out in left field
Take a look around, immigrants in the main globally have no interest in adopting their hosts traditions rather they vie to impose their traditions upon the host nation, needn't look long or hard europe provides ample examples.
