The corporate oligarchy is a joke to me. I do not recognize their claim of authority over me because I have never issued consent to be governed. What I do find serious is the lack of critical thinking displayed by many who are giving him a free pass to ignore rules, forget common courtesy and commit assault. That people will blindly support him after this is a very scary proposition and pushes me to expedite the plans to disappear into the wilderness and forego the fabricated construct of human society....I'll be happier with the bears and the deer.
Precisely. Myself, I don't get my panties in a knot over play acting. Parliament is the theater of the absurd.

The public isn't blind, it's plain to see that the whole incident was incited by the NDP's disruptive tactics. It amazes me that they can't see that the longer they keep this issue alive without taking any responsibility for their part in it, the more their reputation suffers.

The dippers have a reputation to worry about?

I'm not burdened by the illusion of democracy or decorum. Politics is nothing more than entertainment, a distraction from the reality of your enslavement to the ruling elite. That you take this crap seriously tells me that, yes, you are a sheeple.

Most of us do not inhabit the utopian world that you seem to, Cliffy. Out here we are governed by those we elect to do so. When they **** up, we have every right to call them to account.

I was actually more upset about Motion 6 then the fact that our PM made a complete and utter fool of himself.

While I think JT commited an assault under the strict definition in the CCC I don't think it was intentional. That said even unintentional assault is something I do not want from an elected official or govt employee at any level and there should be repercussions for his actions. On a much more important note is the arrogance and bully-boy tactics he displayed flagrantly disobeying all rules and decorum in the HoC leaving his seat with a direct and specific intent to physically confront another member. That in itself should be cause for dismissal from any office especially the PMO. In that brief moment he displayed characteristics that are completely unwanted and unacceptable in politics. He may have only displayed his true self for a few seconds but by letting the veil painted by his handlers and publicists fall, no matter how short the time, it should be clear to anyone he needs to go. Only those who blindly support his policy without any care for the tactics (they probably complained the loudest about Harper doing the same thing) or any ability for rational thought could continue to support him now.

I look at it in a slightly different light, Nick. Given all the lying, cheating and stealing they do I find acting ungraciously in the heat of the moment is actually small potatoes. :) :)

Summation of, um, "defences' of PMJT to date:
(1) NDP deserved it
(2) Brosseau had it coming
(3) What about Harper?
(4) No big deal.

Idiots.

No longer getting updates from the media on this one.

Oh well.

Well not much more needs to be said about this that hasn't been said but if you go to the CBC, Globe and Mail and of course the NAT/SUN Post you will find endless meaningful research digging into the subject......

"Trudeau accidentally bumps someone in a crowd and all the sheeple lose their minds."

Pretty much, I'm not particularly up on parliamentary procedure but maybe the polite thing to do is raise your hand before you leave your seat. :) :) Anyway if they are going to admonish Justin maybe the Dippers deserve a word or two!

Yeah, but to hear some tell it, it was tantamount to groping her and if it's allowed to pass, he'll be raping half the parliament in a week or so! :)

JLM is seeking this topic out to read more about it.

that putz can't be reading half the stuff he replies to. he's a fence-sitting side-switching troll that will siddle up to whomever he feels attacks his enemy the best for him.

Nice that you gloss over the fact that JT was on his way to manhandle the Conservative whip and along the way let loose a barrage of swears directed at any and everyone.

How Prime Ministerial.

Oh well, Sunny Ways I guess

That in itself was also an error on the PMs part. They were trying for a vote and Justin believed that the Conservative Whip needed to be seated to start (he believed all party's Whips needed to be seated). In fact, only the government Whip needed to be seated (an he was). So one mistake led to another mistake which led to another mistake and so on.
