What you mean 'what do you do with a guy like this'? He's facing 29 charges. Looks like a lot is being done.

So far he's had 29 charges laid against him, and hauled off to jail, but so far that's all that's really been done. Now here's a question for the experts. This guy has blown through a stop sign killing or injuring 29 people. Another guy blows through a stop sign and miraculously no one is harmed. Is one driver actually any more evil than the other? I'd be interested in the answers to this and the reasoning!

That's not all that's been done.

The driver hasn't been fit to stand before a court.

He has been in the bin on suicide watch and seeing a shrink daily.

I haven't seen that on any of the news casts. Is that actually official news or just gossip from someone in the system. My son knows people connected to the accused and apparently he was texting, but was he officially texting? One news source did say he was arrested at his home in Cgy. this morning and it was only yesterday that charges were approved.

It was in the news.

In the rumour mill it's going around that he fled Canada.

Reality was/is PTSD and treatment.

What can a shrink do for a guy who has indirectly killed 16 people? Dumb him down with a bushel of pills possibly!

If you had the deaths of 16 people on your back would you not want emotional and mental help?

If it were me, it would rot my soul and I'd question my so called privelege of surviving.

I'd be wanting to string myself up with a shower curtain.

Safe and Responsible Driving
Being a safe and responsible driver takes a combination of knowledge, skill and attitude.

To begin, you must know the traffic laws and driving practices that help traffic move safely. Breaking these “rules of the road” is the major cause of collisions.

Traffic laws are made by federal, provincial and municipal governments, and police from each level can enforce them. If you break a traffic law, you may be fined, sent to jail or lose your driver's licence. If you get caught driving while your licence is suspended, your vehicle may be impounded.

But you need to do more than just obey the rules. You must care about the safety of others on the road. Everyone is responsible for avoiding collisions. Even if someone else does something wrong, you may be found responsible for a collision if you could have done something to avoid it.
