you see how frantic he getting now?

10-4:)

So, if you're frustrated by a group's wrongful, non-violent action, you have the right to pick out a member of that group and attack her?

I think you are smarter than that Bones- I don't know how many times I have to say he was wrong for attacking her and I don't excuse it. What more am I supposed to say. Of course I can't make a definite assessment as I don't know what the extent of her injuries are. If there were actual injuries of course those would be added to the equation. I get so frustrated that no one seems to be acknowledging the fact those women shouldn't have been there doing what they were doing in the first place. I gotta run, going to be busy for awhile, contending with snow. :) :)

You could withdraw your statement that the protesters are "80% responsible."

How does this sound? "The protesters actions were illegal, and the Mounties should have arrested them." Doesn't that sound better than "The protesters actions were illegal, therefore they're responsible for the trucker deciding to commit a crime?"

Of course I can't make a definite assessment as I don't know what the extent of her injuries are. If there were actual injuries of course those would be added to the equation.
So you're claiming that unless she was badly injured, it wasn't a crime to assault her?

Yeah, truck-boy got frustrated too. Maybe you should go assault somebody.

Nah, I think my opinion is pretty close as it stands, when I have more complete knowledge of what exactly transpired I may change my assessment. I don't quite know what the problem is - some posters disagree with me - it doesn't make them any more correct than my disagreeing with them makes me any more correct. I'm a bit of a "red neck" when it comes to protestors harassing workers who just there to feed their families and pay their mortgage, the guy who did the assault was just one of several as I understand, he screwed up which I acknowledged. Let a judge decide the penalty, those women made a conscious choice to stir up sh*t and still have the option to proceed through civil court. Anyway my assessment stands for now. :)

You're also a bit of a redneck when it comes to smacking women.

Ahh...who am I kidding, you're more than a bit of a redneck. I'm sure you make your wife proud.

wow 4 pages.
Anyways, the protesters should have been at the roadside not blocking anyone. The truck driver should have stayed in the cab. I cannot think of what else there is to say except if I were the trucking company I would sue the protesters for lost revenues.

hehe The trucker could have done what a friend of hubby's did one time. The friend (Frank) is a HD mechanic and was working on a skidder. One day some tree-hug er I mean protesters came along and were hampering repairs and traffic of the repair business and other businesses in the area. Frank climbed into the skidder and came wheeling around the corner of the building very quickly and yelling, "no brakes". Protesters scattered like disturbed flies.

;-) That was sorta my silent implication with the low pedestrian/high cowl scenario

Yup, nothing gets us rolling on the floor faster then some idiot dickin' around on a piece of equipment. I remember working in a steel warehouse when I was in high school. Some guy took a 10,000 pound bar of steel and saw how fast he could zip it across the warehouse with an overhead crane. I laughed till I cried
