That doesn't matter, it's more important to drag another bit player into the fiasco, so long as there's another juicy turd to fling, lol.

Oh no doubt, the man's cheese has simply slid right off his cracker.

But it's titillating dude!!! TITILLATING!!!

That's the life of a stuporstar.

Where is anyone saying he did?

Sorry I meant no tax increases.

Look, the guy hasn't done enough in the past three years and this crack thing just sealed the deal.

The only positive I can see coming out of this whole fiasco is that people might look beyond certain social norms for future politicians.

Other than that, what does this guy have going for him?

I disagree. I actually couldn't have cared less until he privatized garbage collection in the west end, then I started paying attention. You have to admit, he's done his best at derailing the gravy train, until he lost his mind that is. As for the crack, again, I really don't care. His choice of friends, don't care. I know lots of people who've tried crack, good people. I know lots of hoods, one of them, my closest friend, closer than my own brothers. I can call him right now and he'd be here in a few minutes, even if it meant losing a days pay.

My moral or ethical code doesn't use ones station in life to define the quality of the person. Loyalty is something I place a far greater value in than whether or not someone sells or smokes drugs.

The only positive I can see coming out of this whole fiasco is that people might look beyond certain social norms for future politicians.
I'm scared, I agree.

Honestly, I liked the fact that he didn't fit the mold. I suspect that was a big part of the appeal for a lot of people. We've seen decades of cookie cutter politicians, this guy stood out, he was different.

I think we should give Ford a break and bad mouth Duffy for awhile! He deserves it! -:)
Now that Ford has been set aside for a while and they RCMP released the new allegations, that does seem to be coming back to the forefront.

The most interesting thing in that story would be the connections to Harper though. People always kind of thought that Senators were parasites, but the attempts to cover it up are what really give this story legs.

Too bad he couldn't keep it behind closed doors.

To bad there was an obsessive need by an agenda driven media outlet, and a group of people so willing to pull it out from behind closed doors.
The guy was showing up at public events hammered.

It wasn't the media who filmed him smoking crack or ranting about wanting to kill people. It was the people he surrounds himself with.

So? have you ever been to A taste of the Danforth?

He fit right in.

Stop trying to force your moral code on the rest of the world dude, you look like a fundamentalist.

It was the media that wanted it, sought it out, and the opposition that pushed for it to be made public, for no other reason but to smear him. Just like when the Sun printed an old police report of Layton in a rub-n-tug.

You said it was the media that brought it out from behind closed doors. Clearly he brought it out into public many times. The Danforth incident was just one of many.

The people who shot the video shopped it around and it has been Rob Ford and his brother who are demanding that it be made public.

Ford is not the victim here.

No one forced Ford to drink himself to a drunken stupor, no one forced him to pick up a crack habit, no one forced him to bowl over a grandma, no oe forced him to run with gangstas, or hire a thug for a driver. Those were all his decisions. Now he is paying the price for those decisions. It's called personal responsibility. Most jobs, if you do any of those things, you'd be gone in a minute.

It sure makes for entertaining TV though.

Of course Harper is just a red herring but wisely so as there is nothing like killing "two birds with one stone". However we don't want to lose sight of the greed and theft of the senators, which is the original and primary concern. Whoever the P.M. happens to be he/she will invariably to be a "turkey". That's a given.
