My sister is a long time fan of the Indians and has traveled to watch a few of their at-home games, so I am sure she is pulling for them too, IRBS. I switched to the CFL..........Lions lost but had the lead for 3 quarters before the Esks got their poop together. TO and the Redblacks are set to go right now.

I didn't think I got the KC vs CI game but I do..........so forgive me CFL ............but I'm watching baseball. Go Indians.

Assuming they hang on today, they will need 5 more wins (or Yankees losses) to win division. They need 1 more win than KC for homefield overall. They also need 4 fewer losses than Texas to secure home field for division series. But wins work for all scenarios.

Wouldn't Toronto still win the AL home field advantage over KC even if they were tied with wins due to Toronto winning the season series against them?

Yes. Now that Toronto has won and KC has lost, they just need to match them the rest of the way. At the time of the post, KC had not lost yet.

I was out and about today and caught the early part of the game and the bottom of the 8th and 9th. I was stunned.

They got what the needed for the win and as I write this the Yanks are losing to Boston. Jays magic number is 3 right now...........if the Yanks lose ..............it is 2. Go Boston. Nice game by the Jays..........even when they were down I knew they had what it takes to pull off the win. Kevin got robbed though..........he beat the catcher from the vids I saw.

Royals tied 0-0 with Cubs in top of 11th at Wrigley. Magic number for 1st overall will be 5 if KC loses.

Game over. Cubbies win with HR leading off bottom of 11th. Royals of course lose.

Baseball has never been my favorite viewing sport to be honest. But of course the Red Sox are the home team so I naturally go with them. The Red Sox and anyone who beats the Yankees.

Good news is Sox are up early on the Yanks. With double header, Jays won't care what Yanks do. Sweep double header and you are in.
