I am very comfortable, love the games, not worried about anything, enjoy each game, don't anticipate
anything negative, or what the future might bring, this is baseball, get into it.

When I watch it sort of becomes "we" as if I have some effect on the outcome of the game.

No it wasn't, talloola and with the Yanks breathing down their necks it is a good thing that the Jays are super hot right now. Like you, I am just enjoying every game and celebrating every win for the team and their fans. I can't remember a time when I was so riveted by a baseball game. Or was sorry to have missed one. The Jays make watching baseball so much fun whether they are at bat or on the field. I am so glad I am able to watch today's game - where the Jays are currently up 6 - 0 at the bottom of the 5th.

GO JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYS.........GO!

yep, I'm with ya, having lots of fun, and I enjoyed their games before this frenzy started, I love the
game, win or lose, doesn't really bother me, but I'm sure happy for those fans having a ball at the
games right now, and if the team fall flat on their faces, and this all goes away, half of those fans
will go away with it, I will still be
there watching and enjoying.

Exactly the way I feel about my Riders, IRBS.

The Riders are my team too but I don't feel the same way about them.

And this year is not your fault. :)

I was a toddler apparently when I attended my first Rider game. My entire family - Mum, Dad and sisters along with my grandparents, aunts, uncles cousins were Rider fans and supporters. All our friends were Rider fans. We all had seasons tickets and never missed a game. They are a part of my history. They will always be my Riders..............which I figure gives me some rights to bitchin' about them from time to time and calling the shots as I see them.

Yeah, I know, I know.

Came here to say that I am fortunate to be home again to watch yet another Blue Jay's game................way cool! Go Jays, Go!

No one is invincible and it's not a bad thing to come back down to earth for a bit. It is tiring being on a prolonged high while expectations mount with every win. They can recoup, take some deep breaths and come back tomorrow and the beat the pants off Cleveland.

doncha just love his commercials.

Absolutely. I saw one tonight where he was in a restaurant having a meal and another patron was throwing bread crumbs at him.

Bottom of the 8th and the Jays are hanging onto a 1 point lead. Some great defensive plays by the guys tonight.

Wow!!!! What a way to end a ball game..........and the Jays are rockin' again. 5 - 3 final. Go Jays!

Nice home run for the win.

Those guys really know the meaning of finishing..............don't they. They found some pretty cute ways of getting on base and getting guys home tonight too. So much talent out there.

great pitching for the Indians tonight, can't win em all.

The Indians have been playing great ball as of late. Over the past 10 they are as hot as the Jays and including last night's win against the Jays had won 6 in a row. They played them tough again tonight but the Jays prevailed. Encarnacion's hit streak is history. Remains in 3 way tie for 2nd at 26 with Shannon Stewart (1999) and John Olerud (2003) behind Sean Green who did 28 in 1998. Indian's also believe they are still in contention for last wildcard spot ... and they probably are given nobody seems to be getting hot and securing it (well the Jays did but they have moved on and up).

The better the team, the sweeter the win and the Indians are a darn good team.

Reckless abandon and controlled regression - that's how one of the Sportsnet guys described Josh Donaldson tonight. Just another example of why the fans chant MVP when he comes to the plate. RA Dickie 7 - 0 since the All-Star game - great night. Rock on Blue Jays!

In one week we have seen a Sac Fly scoring from 2nd and a Sac Fly on a popup to the shortstop.

He also hustled a single into a double.

yeah, I heard that too, Donaldson was amazing tonight, and didn't even have a home run, but he showed
everyone the thoroughness of his game, and how tough he is, and how much he wants to succeed at
whatever part of the game he is playing.

good game. I see markus stroman had a good game tonight in the lower league, I wonder how they
will fit him into the lineup, if he does come back to the jays, none of the starters should have
to come out to give him a spot, so maybe they will start him in the 'pen' for a while, and if
one of the starters faulters for a while, they could move him up, but then sanchez was a starter
too, and he is in the 'pen', so their pitching is very deep.
I guess its a good problem to have, wondering how to fit all the 'good' pitchers into the game.

They certainly are on a nice run right now. But baseball is a marathon not a sprint. So will see how it lasts over 2 months. But it is fun to be a Blue Jays fan again.

Three weeks later and they're still going strong!;)

I'm glad that they are finally playing well again. I've been a fan since I was a kid (not a bandwagon jumper, but I don't mind them either, as it's the more the merrier as far as I am concerned), and I am getting the same vibe from this team as I was when I watched them win the World Series in 1992 and 1993!:)

I also think that Josh Donaldson is far in the lead for MVP.:)

I think he will likely be long reliever. If they clinch early, he could be a 6th starter which could be used to setup the playoff rotation.
