Okay, I will watch more closely when he is a bat. Good solid win for the Jays tonight. There were some really pretty plays by the outfield tonight - that out on third was sooo cool.

I've only been catching the highlights online tonight. At least the Jays won, and KC lost. Also, Texas is smoking Houston 14-1! Texas is now the ALW leaders and Houston is in the second WC slot.

Bottom of the 4th, Jays up 4 - 0 over Atlanta thanks in good part to a 3-run home-run by Cliff Pennington. Edwin hit his 30th of the season to get the Jays on the board. Marcos Estrada is managing the batting line-up for the Braves well. He's also had a base hit. There have been a couple of really good double plays by the Jays so far too.

Now top of the 5th and Jays are at bat.

Top of the 6th still 4 - 0 Jays and the defense is definitely doing their job.

Looks like this will be Estrada's game all the way. He's thrown some hits and given a couple of walks but nobody has made it home yet. He's also had four strike outs. The Braves are at bat now bottom of the 8th. Still 4 - 0 Jays. Lively Blue Jay fans in the stands tonight waving Canadian flags and cheering on their team. There are also two Sask Roughrider fans in the stands who got their Rider flag on the big screen tonight. Go Rider fans.

If the Jays win this one tonight they will be 3.5 games up on the Stankees (as Shadow likes to call them:smile:) who have the night off. We're going to the top of the 9th, the Braves left one man on base but didn't make it home. Yeah Marcos. Oh, it looks like the are putting in a pinch hitter for Marcos - Carrera is in for him and Marcos has the rest of the night off.

Josh Donaldson just got his 39th home-run of the season - 120 RBIs. This after having a bad night at bat so far. They are going on about him doing it in opposite field whatever that means. YOU GO JOSH.

207 home-runs so far for the Jays.

Roberto Osuna is in for Estrada.

Welcome fellow Rider fan. I am a wagon-jumper as far as the Jays go. I haven't watched a lot of baseball as there are usually so many other sports vying for my attention. I started watching them back when they were on a 7 or 8-game run early in the year and have followed them since.

Jays got this one going home. 5 - 0 Final. Osuna was 3up, 3down. Yeah Jays. It's back home for the guys now and I imagine a very warm welcome.

Mets up 2 - 1 in the 6th inning. Meanwhile the Energizer Bunny - I swear I can see the waves of energy emanating off this kid - has a 6 - 1 lead over the Red Sox. Marcus hasn't had a stellar night but he has been very good. He just had a 3up, 3 down in the 6th. The outfield is having fun with double plays - they've had a couple of misses on balls that seemed to have a mind of their own. The Sox have been victims of bad bounces too - weird balls tonight........hmm. The Jays have been on base so many times I've lost count, apparently they lead the league in that category.... as they do in some others.

The fans are having the time of their lives. There is a constant buzz in the stadium and the place rocks whenever the Blue Birds make a good play. They gave Marcus the wave all ready.

Marcus is out and Hendrix in to pitch the last two innings.

Just announced that the Texas Rangers have moved into first place in the West.

Mets up 4 - 1.

All the fans are on their feet cheering and clapping, the count is 1 and 2 with two out and Hawkins just finished the game for the Jays with a strike out. Jays win it 6 - 1. They move 4 games ahead of the Yankees. Yee Haw JAYS! This will go down as win for Marcus Stroman - not bad for a 24 year old. Not bad at all. GO JAYS, GO!

My bad, thanks talloola.

they will also be watching the royals real hard, as it is possible to finished ahead of them and
win the American championship, but that won't be easy, just like it won't be easy for the Yankees
to catch the jays now, the crunch is on for all of them.

As of today, the Jays are a game behind the Royals.

1.5. KC and Detroit are tied in middle of 11th right now in Detroit. 1 game if KC loses. The Tigers were up 3-1 with 2 out in the 9th. Then they pulled Velander and then a 2 run HR. If Jays and Royals wind up tied ... Jays have tiebreaker. All we got to do is tie. The way KC is playing, I would expect they should also be watching Texas as they have become red hot.

Next Wednesday I will see Stroman vs Osaka. Looks to be an exciting matchup.

7 - 6 loss to the Red Sox. They'll be back on track tomorrow. No worries here.

I'm not really irked about Osuna blowing the save, as even Mariano Rivera did it on occasion (and it only had made it a 4-4 game), but I did NOT like the way Sanchez pitched tonight. He, quite frankly, stunk. He needs to pick it up if he wants to keep his spot as he has not looked that great lately. I'm not saying the Jays would have still gotten those two runs in the bottom of the 9th, but if it had been still 4-4, there would have been a much greater chance!

Stankees are now 3.5 games back. They have CC Sabathia pitching tomorrow, so I like the Mets chances!

I hope the Jays bounce back tomorrow.

Good. The Stankee fans say that their rotation is soooo much better than the Jays rotation, but beyond Tanaka their only good starter is the rookie (I can't recall his name at the moment) and they Jays lit into him the last time. As long as the Jays don't have to face Tanaka, I think they have a good chance of sweeping them.

The game I am seeing is the 3rd game and it will be Tanaka vs Stroman. Should be a good game but more likely 1-0 or 2-1 one way or the other. With Price in rotation, your Yankee fans don't know what they are talking about.

Dang! Well, if the Jays take the first two, perhaps the added pressure will cause the Stankees to fold like a cheap suit in the third game!

And enjoy the game! The last one I went to was Toronto vs Baltimore, and Brandon Morrow was the starter. He stunk that night, and they lost.
