While I believe we have to keep the public safe I don't think we have
to go to the extremes being proposed. It reminds me of the Bush era
to the south. I believe this bill is sufficient to not only keep tabs on the
possible terror suspects it can be used to quell any form of dissent.
We need to punish those who would be an affront to Canadians not to be
used against those who are merely citizens. Yes it goes too far.

That was good, very funny, but I'm not sure how realistic. I don't think Harper is out to harm the average peaceful, law abiding citizen!

I don't think anyone here has read the bill in it's entirety, some members of parliament haven't read it....like Obama's health care bill...
The lemmings on both sides will believe what the pundits of their choice will tell them....
Anyone that hint's of conspiracy will be believed by Cliffy because it's what he wants to believe...
He probably truly believes the moon landing was fake, the plane hitting the building in New-York were holograms, there were people with a rifle on a grassy knoll and the C.I.A. has started every war in the past century.
People will believe anyone that reinforces their own personal belief , It's human nature,
Some people will change their mind when the evidence hit them in their pocketbook, but not a conspiracy theorist,, no evidence is strong enough to shake their belief, anything not in line with their belief is a conspiracy of some kind.
