You have to be kidding! I suggest you reread post # 3162!

Ah, see now I understand.

Initially, the discussion came from your post 2138 where you said :Just reported on the news the support pro and con impeachment is virtually 50/50 and Trump's popularity since Nov. 2016 is virtually unchanged. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...roval-ratings/

Virtually unchanged.

But if you look at the link you gave, about how popular Trump is, between November 16 to today, there's drastic changes going from 45% approval, down to 35% at one point then back up to 42%. Which negates that 'virtually' part of the sentence.

That's ALL you claimed.

Your post 3162 was not to me, but Anna, so I didn't really pay much attention to it. Had you said that to me to begin with, I would have agreed in as much as yes, he has been above 40.

I would say this was a miscommunication on both our parts in the end. If we go by what you said inn 3162, you're right. If we go by your original post, you're wrong.

I think my use of "virtually" was quite justified...………….36.4% was the absolute lowest and it was less than 37% for 3 days or fewer. You spend much more time than I do perusing this shit and I sometimes respond to a post w/o paying too much attention to the author, although with you I'm generally aware of who I'm dealing with. These polls are generally very fickle and dependent on so many things. But when a poll stays steady between 37 and 44% I think the support and lack of are quite reliable. Keep in mind Trump's shortcomings are mainly due to his mouth, he's not particularly articulate, but I would guess a vast proportion of his duties aren't reported on by the media. I would guess he knows his job and does most of it satisfactorily. He'll never go down in history as a "statesman", but I don't think he cares about that. He's just trying to fulfill promises. As far as the popular vote goes, Hillary picked up a lot of votes in a few pockets, but as Trump's support was spread across the country more consistently hence the large discrepancy in the electoral college. Look forward to his continuing presence. :)

House Democrats have enough votes to impeach Trump, according to a Post analysis

A majority of House lawmakers have said they plan to support both articles of impeachment against President Trump. No Republicans have said they will break ranks in the full House vote, which is expected Wednesday.

We shall see how tomorrow goes........

Trump takes no responsibility for anything that got him here.............. (from his mouth to the world)

House panel sets parameters for debate and vote Wednesday on articles of impeachment against Trump

The House Rules Committee voted along party lines for six hours of debate on Wednesday on the two articles of impeachment abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Obama can still be impeached and since we now know he KNEW about this attempted coup from the start, he just might be.

WE'll know when they get filed in the long stay hotel
;)
I'm thinking jail is likely for Brennan and Comey, but I'd really be surprised if the long arm of justice is tall enough to reach much above that. ON the other hand if this becomes national security, then Guitmo just might be the jail.

The way I see it, if you follow the money, the USA is already a slave state, so really it's all a mute point now.

So... you can't admit you ****ed up in responding? Okay.

:D

Seriously though, I said you were right. I don't agree that your use of virtual in this case was the wrong word to use, but okay, sure.

The rest of your Poor Trump Pro Trump BS is your opinion and I think it's horseshyte but again, whatever.

He will likely still be in after 2020. The USA, if that is the case, will no longer be the USA I remember and that's sad.

Trump impeachment: US House ready for historic vote

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50834324?ocid=global_bbccom_email_18122019_top+news+stories

Since he is so fond of involving other nations to help get him elected........... It might b e an idea to involve other nations in his impeachment vote. Just think of the publicity he would get...........something he lives for.

That six page letter of gibberish confirms his pathological mental state. It is hardly literate and makes one wonder if he learned anything in school. (he did go to UNI didn't he??)

someone said something about "listening" to him. He has had his chance many times to make his case effectively..........and all we get is crazy tweets , and now letters........that will be representative of his mindset. for years to come. But then he was elected out of sheer ignorance. And ignorance.....dumbed down population........ might just continue on this trajectory.

Very strange charge- "endangering the security of the country". A guy who is as adamant about building a wall along the border as he is! They are grasping at straws. I suspect some stuff is about to unravel. He needs a lawyer!
