The false narrative and grandstanding at yesterday's impeachment proceedings were simply astounding. All three constitutional scholars presented by Democrats unanimously asserted that Trump had committed high crimes and misdemeanors and should be impeached. Then the Republicans trotted out their "expert."
First, I wonder if he is as loose with facts in his classroom as he was before Congress. He kept raving about the "fastest impeachment in history," finally concluding, with full histrionic grandstanding, that he could not understand why anyone hadn't explained to him why the impeachment was proceeding at such a breakneck speed.
Hey, snowflake. Here's why. It's the slowest, most methodical impeachment, demonstrably, by FACT, in history. Maybe nobody can explain it to you because it's just a lie.
Then he complained about the "thin" case against the President. This is worse than disingenuous, since the Republicans have blocked fully 31 witnesses from testifying.
And let us not forget one simple set of facts. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the witnesses who have claimed that President Trump is guilty has done so under oath. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the witnesses who claim President Trump is not guilty has refused to do so under oath.
When are you people going to stop lying, obstructing justice, covering up conspiracies and generally destroying what is left of our Democracy? When are you going to stop pandering to deliberate ignorance and stupidity? When, if ever, do we return to reality? ~ David Bud Massey
