The author’s original 2018 column in the New York Times ricocheted around the world and stoked the president’s rage because of its devastating portrayal of Trump in office.

Article on Mcconnell and his strategy for the impeachment: say nothing about the substance of the charges, instead focus on the unfairness of the process. It is unfair. All the other presidents were treated more politely.
What I thought was interesting was his comment on Mitt Romney - who has said he will consider the substance of the charges - speaking about the democats and why they are so effective at dirty tricks etc - “The two things they have: They’re vicious and they stick together,” he said. “They don’t have Mitt Romney in their midst. They don’t have people like that.”
Ouch
That's a hell of a way to talk about the guy who is the likely candidate in the case of a Trump no show in 2020.
The best part is that Mitch is probably losing his own re election campaign.

Actually yes. I've watched a few impartial videos lately on how the process is done and how long it can take.
What's going on right now is basic information gathering to see if they can even CONTINUE with Impeachment proceedings, if there's enough to warrant going to the Senate. As such, those are NOT held in the open, nor do they involve the President.
Again, Walter doesn't know how this works.
