To be truthful I really don't care what he made. I'm not a supporter of his but it makes no difference except he is one who makes money. Our government is one which wastes money.

Neither do most people. The issue here is that he lied. Trumpites don't care about lies, as long as he gets rid of the Mexicans and Muslims. Putting women back their place is an added bonus

You sure do love yourself some good ol' propaganda bullsh*t, don't ya. You sound JUST like the leftards up here after Harper won his majority govt. "Ermahgerd, Harper is going to repeal gay marriage, ban abortions, abrogate women's rights and turn Canada into a Christian theocracy." None of which happened, just in case you were too blind to notice.

Personally, I'm more concerned about what Trudeau's offshore trust fund is worth and how much in taxes he's gypping the Canadian tax coffers out of. Then again, I'm not some neo-liberal retard looking for ways to deflect from our disaster of a Prime Minister by whining about what promises a foreign President keeps or doesn't keep.

I noticed. I also noticed none of that was on Harper's radar. That's why I voted for him. He promised fiscal responsibility. Too bad we didn't get it.

Now, back to Trump. Muslim registries, Mexican walls, tariffs, expanding deficits and debt and government handouts are on his radar. Fiscally, he's not much different than Trudeau. That's why I would never vote for him. His lying is just the icing on the cake.

You do realize that Muslim registries are nothing new in the US, right? Well, technically they weren't called "Muslim" registries, it was just a register of people and places that were considered undesirable. BY the by, Mr. Peace aka Jimmy Carter banned Iranians from entering the US.
As for the wall, it isn't just about Mexicans. It's about a porous border where people from all over Mexico, Central and South America sneak into the US. Not wanting millions of undocumented people running around your country isn't racist, it isn't bigoted, it's just common f*cking sense.
Did you once hear Trump say he wanted to ban legal Mexican immigration? No?
As for Trump being a liar, tell me, who in politics doesn't lie. Who doesn't lie when they're campaigning to be the leader of a country?
O'Bummer pledged to close Gitmo, it's still open. Obama pledged to work towards peace in the Middle East. The US is currently bombing 7 different countries over there. And well, you know the old saying, "Bombing for peace is like f*cking for virginity".
Chretien ran and won largely on a pledge to scrap the GST. It's 2017 and it's still here. And yes, Harper ran on a promise of fiscal responsibility which went unfulfilled.

I mean, if your objection to someone as a leader is based on the fact they lie, then voting must be a real chore for you since no matter who you vote for it'll be based on lies.

"Iranian" does not equal "Muslim". One is a nationality and one is a religion.

My objection to Trump is his liberal economic agenda. The rest of his sales pitch is just nonsense designed to appeal to xenophobes and racists. The wall isn't going to be built.

Ford will build cars where it makes economic sense to build them or they won't build them at all. It's ridiculously naive to think Trump will have an affect

Those two sentences don't go together.

Since Trump will be setting economic policy, it's ridiculously naïve to think it would have no effect on decisions about where to build cars.

Of course they do. Ford builds Escorts in Mexico. If the choice is between moving the Escort plant to Michigan, having a 35% tariff on Escorts or not building Escorts then Escorts will disappear. Ford will not builf them in the US....period

Granted, it is conceivable that Americans will start making wages similar to Mexicans but I doubt even the fiercest Trump critic would go that far.

But you just said that it depends on if it makes economic sense to do so.

Now you're saying that they simply won't do it.

Feel free to pick one position and stick with it.

Isn't it amazing how many idiots who post on here don't have the brains to see that? :) :)

No surprise. He had no intention of providing his tax details. ( and probably for "good " reason.as he is reputed for his shady deals and connections . ) More important. The rues don't apply to him.he is above them in his own mind. This is just the beginning. ya aint seen nutin yet.
