No, I mean a good few were brought to Jesus. As in sent to Jesus. As in killed.
That too.
Morality has nothing to do with this.
Amen to that!

you comments identify you as a big LOSER!I'm not missing anything. The head of the Holy Roman Catholic Church has already addressed the residential schools DIRECTLY to First Nations leaders in 2009. There is no need for his Holiness to do it again. This is an example of the TRC and Trudeau grandstanding only.
Is the apology supposed to be for having residential schools or is it for the sexual abuse that occurred in them??
Res Schools were a gov issue, no Pope involvement!!
Sexual abuse is an individual priest failing, ,,, don't understand how the Pope can be held responsible for an individual's failing???

That is like saying that a prime minister cannot be held responsible for the individual failings of one of his ministers. His Holiness is the head of the entire Catholic Church; an apology from His Holiness is an apology from the institution, which would go a long way in helping victims of the residential school system to begin healing and moving on. While the prime minister cannot guarantee that His Holiness would actually agree to the Government of Canada's request, the fact that this Government is even asking is demonstrative of this Government's genuine commitment to renewing a stronger and more respectful relationship with First Nations.
Best pope y'all ever had. Smartest for sure. So, I gather that you are of the opinion that Pope Benedicts address to the First Nations delegation that he saw in 2009 is worth shyte.
