This is straight up bizarre... and these episodes are becoming more frequent. There is probably a good reason why she is shielded from the press.

If she's picked a strong running mate, that can hardly be considered the behaviour of an irresponsible fool whereas there is a term that can be applied to the behaviour of shallow and mean-spirited "people" who believe they can gauge the worth of a person by ability, wealth or political stripe.
