Re: Kerry Says Chemical Arms Attack in Syria Is ‘Undeniable’

This doesn't make any sense to me. Why would Syria use chemical weapons in a Civil War in which the tide of battle has clearly turned in their favour over the last months.
.

Because they're just as brutal as the opposition.

I don't know if they did, they could have used them.

But enough already.

Just a hunch. We're going to hit command and control targets to allow the opposition a little more breathing room to regroup because you're right... they are back on their heels.

When Hezzbolah entered the fray, Al Queda was facing an enemy just as fanatical as they are. And clearly better. That had to sting them a bit. They were out-crazied.

Well we haven't stopped printing money... how else are we going to stay afloat?

What's a little inflation. Go ahead, print your way to war. You don't mind a little inflation do you?

Heck we didn't need a war to print money!

Besides... this will be just using our existing stock of cruise missiles.

Both of course. Why stop now.

It is the only thing holding up the stagnant economy.

Did you see the MTV Music Awards?

Just thinking outside the box here. . . since the two big problems everybody in America is banging on about are Assad and Miley Cyrus, why don't we just drop Miley Cyrus on Assad?

Yeah, like getting two birds stoned at once!

I can't believe we are going to bomb Syria. Are you bleeping kidding me!

Tell me about it. It's like "Hey Al Qeada--quite the stalemate you got there. Do you need a hand?"

Maybe the Saudi's want all the radicals heading to Syria as well.
Saudi Royals are the radicals.

What do the Saudis have to lose if Russian and the Russian Jew Oligarchs keep backing Assad?

"It doesn't matter who did it, we NEED to invade". - John Kerry

Think about that one for a minute.

What are these US backed Rebels doing?

What is in the canister? Love?

Video of Rebels using chem weapons found here: Evidence: Syria gas attack work of U.S. allies

The Wall Street Journal reports:
“The [weapons inspection] team must be able to conduct a full, thorough and unimpeded investigation,” said U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Sunday night. However, the team is only mandated to determine if chemical weapons were used, not who used them, Mr. Ban’s spokesman said.
In other words, even if it was the rebels who carried out the attack, it will still be used as an excuse to attack the government.
The fix is in … the U.S. will get the war it planned 20 years ago.

Re: Kerry Says Chemical Arms Attack in Syria Is ‘Undeniable’

"I do not understand this squeamishness about the use of gas. We have definitely adopted the position at the Peace Conference of arguing in favour of the retention of gas as a permanent method of warfare. It is sheer affectation to lacerate a man with the poisonous fragment of a bursting shell and to boggle at making his eyes water by means of lachrymatory gas.

"I am strongly in favour of using poisoned gas against uncivilised tribes. The moral effect should be so good that the loss of life should be reduced to a minimum. It is not necessary to use only the most deadly gasses: gasses can be used which cause great inconvenience and would spread a lively terror and yet would leave no serious permanent effects on most of those affected."
-Winston Churchill

For those that are for and those that are against attacking Syria, did you have the same opinion when Saddam was massacring Kurds?

An honest reply would be appreciated.
