Kavanaugh's sexual assault hearing started quietly enough, then it devolved into a partisan brawl on steroids. Here's our analysis.

At some point soon, Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's fate will be decided. But the process by which that fate is ultimately determined is likely to leave a stain on Washington.

The whole GOP reaction to the testimony was canned. The GOP agreed beforehand they would have someone else question Ford and then not refer to her during Kavanaugh's testimony later but blame democrats instead. Such a canned con. It was scripted. Beforehand. Lindsay Graham is either a con man with his anger today or a pasty. I said pasty.

People Can and some do "change" as they mature. The problem is that in situations like applying for such high level positions....... the past is examined closely. (as it should be) Sometimes the dysfunctional past does not matter to the public ( as in the case of trump's followers) but most times it does.And should. Character.......LIKE QUALIFICATIONS MATTERS.

Much more important than the mischief he may or may not have committed as a youth would be if he decided to lie about it and lying should be a disqualifying offense...………..if you are a liar in your 50s, what's the chance you'll change?

Why would Dr. Ford come out of nowhere to commit a felony, bring public humiliation on her name on top of the death threats against her pouring in from Hillbilly Land? It's pretty crazy, innit?

Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) rejected the allegations of sexual misconduct against Brett M. Kavanaugh leveled earlier Thursday by Christine Blasey Ford and ripped Democrats in a furious speech for engaging in the ��most unethical sham�� of his entire political career.

"To my Republican colleagues, if you vote no, you��re legitimizing the most despicable thing I��ve seen in my time in politics," an agitated Graham said.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) likened the treatment of Kavanaugh to the Army-McCarthy hearings of the 1950s to find communists.

And Kavanaugh predicted he would be accused of crime(s) because it took all of 1/2 an hour for his people to release a list of 45 women from his youth-young adulthood who supported him after Ford's story was leaked for the first time. Now the GOP claim they did not know. Interesting that he could predict so well.

Ford needs to 'grow a pair' and get on with her life. She's still whining about a 'David Cop-a-Feel' from a 15 year old boy that happened 36 years ago?

And Kavanaugh should just fess up...admit he was just a boy and screwed up.

She's a psychology professor. She's been through therapy and surrounded by people who are emotionally intelligent and psychologically perceptive. Otherwise she would not have that job.

I was shocked by the virulence of some of Kavanaugh's supporters, pgs. Graham was close to spitting he was so angry. But he wasn't alone in his vehement support of the nominee and total condemnation of the Dems. High drama indeed.
