Normally, they do not wait for any evidence to presented for any political claims. They just blindly accept allegations as if they were the gospel truth and demand immediate punishment on their terms. Well, as we all know right wingers claim to be the most principled of people. Surely they will demand that Trump be imprisoned and forced to surrender all his assets to the government as retribution for his infinite evils.

Except neither Canada or the US$ has a democracy. More like a bureaucratic kleptocracy.
A guy that worked for me once got charged and convicted of a crime that was committed while he was in jail. When he complained to the public defender he was told to keep his mouth shut and just accept it as punishment for the crimes he didn't get caught for. But the RCMP got to "clear" a bunch of minor crimes off the sheet this way.
