Nobody knows what Jesus looks like, the reason why we even keep the accounts of his life is to remember why we don't want another one.
Well, how do you know that it was Jesus that someone substituted a pic of Obama with? It might have been a pic of Jim Smith, or Arnold Shortzpecker in disguise.Nobody knows what Jesus looks like, the reason why we even keep the accounts of his life is to remember why we don't want another one.

If we examine the number of humans bashed on a daily basis by christians since their invention they have definitely got some blowback bashing coming. Wouldn't it screw them up if we pulled the old pagan dirty trick of forgiving them?
If one doesn't carry grudges, no-one needs forgiving, right? If we examine the number of humans bashed on a daily basis by christians since their invention they have definitely got some blowback bashing coming. Wouldn't it screw them up if we pulled the old pagan dirty trick of forgiving them?

roflmaoToo bad nobody has the authority to do that, so what's the point?
Religion has never been about the spiritual aspects of the human race, its about
politics and control of the masses. Who was it, Lenin who said religion was in
fact opium for the mind. I am a retired Catholic. I grew up being an alter boy
and all the nonsense that goes with it. I couldn't wait to get on my own and out
from the trappings of religion. I have been respectful, in fact I have gone to church
with others in their representation of the faith. Same thing, Baptists, Catholics,
and other groups, all of them about control of thought and souls. God will do
this or that if you don't think like they think. Religions are active in controlling
the political agenda, they are the self prescribed authority as to what is good and
evil and what groups should get favor and so on.
Today we are more and more seeing the other side of these crucifixion gangs,
as I call them. WE have the ministers caught with porn, Swaggart, there is the
Jim and Tammy Baker affair, and then Newt Gingrich who did the same things that
President Clinton did. Now the manifestations of sexual scandal coming out of the
Catholic Church are symbolic of the devil dispensing with his sheep's clothing.
I say that metaphorically there is no devil but you know what I mean.
More and more people are beginning to realize many of these actions are not
religious indiscretions they are in fact criminal acts and should be punished to the
fullest extent of the law.
Has it ever accured to anyone that there still are people living in remote places in the world that have no knowledge of Religion or the Bible. What happens to them after they perish, do you think they are doomed? Of course not!
There are just too many politics in religion these days to see the joy's of the benefits in what it has to offer.
I just wonder....If we knew how many non believers at the last moment of their lives.... say a little prayer like the guy on the other cross....Just in case.....to hedge their bet......
And those who say they would never do it???.......nuff said:lol:
I guess we can start with defamation of the church by calling the Catholic League.
What Does the Catholic League Do?
- When slanderous assaults are made against the Catholic Church, the Catholic League hits the newspapers, television, and radio talk shows defending the right of the Church to promote its teachings with as much verve as any other institution in society.
- When Catholics are the victims of a bigoted portrayal by the media, the Catholic League issues news releases bringing the matter to the attention of the public. It may also encourage a boycott of the program's sponsors.
- When Catholic students or employees are denied their rights in school or on the job, the Catholic League makes a formal response to the guilty parties; the league response may include litigation.
- When the religious freedom rights of any American are threatened, the Catholic League stands ready to fight for justice in the courts.
- When Catholics are slighted by public officials, the Catholic League calls press conferences alerting the public to the unacceptable behavior of their servants.
- When Catholic interests are unfairly represented by public policy initiatives, the Catholic League offers testimony before legislative bodies to set the record straight.
- When officials in government, the media and education need an informed perspective on Catholic civil rights issues, the Catholic League provides a quick and effective response.
I just wonder....If we knew how many non believers at the last moment of their lives.... say a little prayer like the guy on the other cross....Just in case.....to hedge their bet......

Peter Steele - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In April 2007, Steele revealed that he began identifying himself as Roman Catholic in recent years, after decades of self-professed atheism. In an interview with Decibel magazine, Steele explained: “There are no atheists in foxholes, they say, and I was a foxhole atheist for a long time. But after going through a midlife crisis and having many things change very quickly, it made me realize my mortality. And when you start to think about death, you start to think about what’s after it. And then you start hoping there is a God. For me, it’s a frightening thought to go nowhere. I also can’t believe that people like Stalin and Hitler are gonna go to the same place as Mother Teresa.”[4]

I agree with everything you said, and I also was a devout
catholic as a child, even went to catholic school, and
like you when I was about 12 my brain began to sort all
of that 'stuff' out, so I walked away, I am a free thinker
and don't follow any guilt ridden religious laws, which do
exactly as you say they do. Good for you, and good for me.
