Basically, I agree.

McCain is the man.....he has the character, has been tested in the fire, and passed with flying colours.

Hillary is simply unelectable.....

Obama increasingly appears to be "all hat, no cattle".

Obama, damned if I could remember his name when I posted, just goes to show he may be black but he has no color.

He is all show no stay. (heard that in a John Wayne movie, lol).

If you want to see the u.s. running around the world attacking and being in wars
continuously, well then, mc Cain is your man, war till the end, he lives for that.

No American is welcome to our water as we do share some waterways, they run together.
America has always done it's best with a republican leader, they have the grit and strength that it takes to run a country, and keep it, everyone else wants it, so need a strong leader to keep it. I'd like the US to change their national anthem (although the present one is beautiful) to Dixieland, that is such a beautiful song.
A democrat is weak, much like the thieving liberals in Canada.
Eagle smack, too funny.
Are you in the services? If so, I wish you God speed. And Vios Con Dios amigo. And my heart felt thanks. My ex son in law is in the Canadian military. You all have mine and families support in all you do.

Sure....

If you total up all the Swiftboat an Hanoi Hilton tales along with Mei Lai and several other remarkable tales of American "efficiency" you'd end up believing that Saddam Hussein and Iran are although part of the "Axis of Evil"...probably a lot less proveably stupid.

Nah...I have been out of the Marines for many years now.

Dixieland as our new Anthem! Are you nuts! That is the song of the Confederacy and unique to just the Southern States. Granted it is a catchy tune and it breathes the South land but Dixie IS the South. New York is not in Dixie Land.

I know I just love the sentiment, the song is about. But I do like your anthem. I do not like ours, it is not just native land. And we are not free. I also have southern roots so that could be the call of the song that tugs at me heart.
I hope I did not offend you. I have relatives in many US states, Dad's family came from Mankato (did I spell it right?) Minnesota, Grandparents Pennsylvania (she was a quaker). I have Evanelist relatives in the south and Washington state, (they have been on Oprah). I sound more yank than canuck.
And I could not edit last post, It should say All Americans are welcome to our water, Dios Maria!, we have a **** load of it. And only a tryannt and inhumane asshole would deny a man water.

I am not offended but ask any Southerner if they would like Dixieland to be shared with the rest of the US and they would most likely say no. Dixie being those states south of the Mason-Dixon line.

The Dan Rather story was a complete and absolute fraud. How verified and they were only copies as they were told the original documents were burned after they faxed them to the 60 Minutes investigators. How convenient. Why do you think Dan lost his job?

All of those reasons you give were the ones that got Rather into trouble, and they
did do those things you explained, tried to present an original
document, which they failed in doing, BUT, the story is true, they just did a messy
job trying to present it, and in doing so, made it look as though they were presenting
a false story, but it was true.
I hate Bush because he is a fake, representing a great powerful country, and has
no business being there, soon, that will end, just hope the american people think long
and hard before they let a party doop them again.

Well I am glad that you admit that the documents were forgeries...because they were. That is typically unheard of from Bush haters so I commend you.

It wasn't that they did a messy job presenting it it was that the documents were false and the source unverified. However they wanted to run the story and drop a bomb during an election year. Bush's military record is questionable. There is no question that his family used their power to avoid serving in Vietnam but these documents were falsified. They didn't try to present an original document. They received a fax of a supposed original document and presented that because the source that faxed it said that he burned the original document after he faxed it. If he had sent the original forgery it would have been found out right away. Their desire to run the story out weighed their journalistic integrity. If there is such a thing any longer. You can't say...

"Sure all the documents are false and forged...but the story is true."

Yes I know . I have relatives down south, and my fried chicken is to die for!;-)
I just like to tease sometimes. It is hard to tell sometimes and even harder on line.
I love the way "E" sang it.

I have not looked at the elections lately how is our soon to be new President McCain doing. I am living in the Dominican and you do not see much here on it, so I have to go on the computer.
Going to Imbert in an hour to go down the waterfalls,...same thing as waterslide, but they are real rocks that are as smooth as a baby's bottom, you can go up all 21 or start at just 7. You climb up those waterfalls, then shoot back down to the bottom on the falls. Each set of falls has a nice pool underneath for swimming or catching your breath. Good luck with that, as the water is kinda rough, so it swirls and pushes you around quite a bit. I suggest you be fit to do this. My husband will not go after the first time, I love it, it is a riot.
Beach party tonight, it is hump night. LOL!

I will continue to root root root for McCain! Go republicans. only the strong can lead.

I watched a very detailed different presentation, (can't remember the source, after
all this time) long before the Dan Rather report, which explained his national guard
service, it was very credible and moved throughout his service over time, and
found a few very shady areas, and certain 'missing' documents that should have been
found when investigated, (not there). Perhaps that is why the rather report was trying
to recreate those documents, not sure.
The story is true, and the report of how messy the rather situation was, worked to
the advantage the bush 'side', as it made it seem that the story was false, it wasn't.

There has always been questions about Bush's military record. He was able to do what many were not, defer to National Guard status and not go to Vietnam. And he may indeed have missed drills. But the fact of the matter is that the documents were forgeries. They were. So you can't just call it messy reporting. Someone had an axe to grind and duped the once above reproach "60 Minutes". You can't just say...

"Well I know Bush was using his family influence to avoid the war...but I can't find any real documents to prove it. Oh I will just make my own documents because it is true anyways."

THAT is not messy reporting. THAT is why Rather got canned. THAT is why CBS issued an apology.

I have watched enough to satisfy me, that he took important documents out of the files
which would have hurt his credability as a respectable national guard person. I really
don't care about the forged documents as I am not forming my opinion from those, I
allready said that.
He also didn't complete his proper flying hours, but was given full marks as though he had, that is only part of it.

The story is true

Also, the new program which Dan Rather reports is by far a better format and more interesting, I watch it all
the time.
He is a classy guy.

Today McCain reminded Americans of Canada's help and sacrifices in Afghanistan, and took Obama and Clinton to task for vowing to "re-negotiate" NAFTA.........

In other words, it is VERY MUCH in Canada's self-interest to see McCain, NOT the Democrats, in the White House.

As well, an article in the G&M accuses the media of being extremely soft on Obama (and McCain), ignoring Obama's close connections with a high pofile Chicago fraud artist......

McCain is de man.
