You have an odd definition of "stole".........Bush could "steal" no money from the treasury, it has to be appropriated by Congress, as you well know.

AND, I really don't care.....not my treasury.

Bush's deficit spending and tax cuts are completely insane, IMHO. On that, we'll agree.

OK, I didn't know about Mccain's cancer surgery, so that explains that.

I respect him very much for his honourable tour of duty, and his ability to endure the
long prison camp detainment.

But, that is in the past, has nothing to do with 'now', and should have no part in the
reason he should or shouldn't be president.

It's his attitude, he is still fighting, is still a soldier, hasn't progressed to the present.
talks about Iraq as though they had all the terrorists, and they had 'NONE' till the u.s.
attacked them. The terrorists and carnage is there because OF GEORGE BUSH, and
McCain totally supports that. That alone should be the sole reason he will never be
elected president, as more of the same will continue, and the u.s. won't have a
chance to make a full turn, and make it's way back to respectability.

Barack Obama can do that for them, and I hope he is given that chance.

Yeah, that ole 'cut n run' card, I've heard so many times, it became very tiring and stale.
But I'm afraid they had much of the american people sucked in, but I think that attitude
is in the midst of a change of heart.

McCain will use that on Obama, thinking it's the high ground to take. None of those
things will work on Obama, he will rise above all of that. McCain probably won't even
understand half of what O bama says, it will all be to intellectual for him and sensible.
McCain will try to intimidate him and say, he is 'far too inexperienced', poppycock, I
say. J.F.K. was a young senator when elected, sure he was a war hero, but that does
nothing toward being a good president. He and robert kennedy had to do much learning
on the job, and it worked out just fine, well, not quite,' they are both dead,' but not
before completing many good things in office.

That analogy coming out of the mouths of u.s. military sounds 'stupid' when talking about
Iraq, they started the war, attacked without any provocation, and now spout those

There are two North American leaders that have gained a respect and a reputation that I simply don't understand.....one is Pierre Trudeau........the other is Bill Clinton.

Fer God's sake, Clinton was accused of sexual assault by at least two women......one of whom was an aide in the White House.....I saw her on "Sixty Minutes" VERY convincing.........

The guy was a success in handling the nations affairs and it took a Republican to screw it up.

I think you are right. Whether it is the best Democrat the RNC has (McCain) or one of the DNC candidates remaines to be seen. The Democrats will probably control both Houses so why not back off, save the money and run full bore in 2012? With the control of both Houses the president can't get much done on their own.

Even if the democrats control both houses, the wealthy still own both houses, that house control is rented property only. And the rent will be paid on time as usual.

I want to see an OBAMA vs MCCAIN election.

I think Hillary's negatives will obscure the issues I have with McCain's attitudes. Obama can best uncover that. Not Hillary.

In fact Hillary is coming off looking very good in last night's 60minutes with gag-me-with-a-spoon Katic Couric and Hillary is looking very good in her commercials ---- she's not the shrieker and shrill person anymore.

I had to think about it.

Obama has raised the tenor and tone of the campaign. Had he not, you would still be seeing bad behavior on Hillary's part.

Obama's leadership on the tone of the campaign is making his opponent even behave better.

That's leadership.

McCain isn't going to win, I'll treat everyone to beer on this site if he does. The next time Republicans win the office of the President, I'll be dead.

I prefer Obama to win, I made up my mind. Hillary wouldn't be a detriment but I prefer she doesn't win.

Now if Bloomberg ever decides to declare his candidacy, I'll vote for him instead.

I'm a Republican heavily leaning towards Obama. The egotism of McCain is not something I have a handle on yet. I'm paying more attention to this qualm since I ignored the same qualm about W. Bush.
