God's knowledge is absolute and infinite; it is He Who created the moon and the entire universe, as is it He Who revealed the Quran, the Torah and the Gospel. The Quran, being the most recent of these heavenly books, includes a tremendous knowledge concerning the universe that confirms the true science, and some that is superior to the present knowledge.

Their lack of a mind large enough to consider the size of the universe would be my guess. I see the sun, a massive object as one of 100 thousand million in our galaxy. see those as just some in a universe that at best guesstimate, has about 10 to the 23rd power of suns. I can grasp that concept and still not attribute the circumstances to some superstitious being conjuring up everything.

A man who could go to the moon and put his feet there upon its ground, could only glorify God – be celebrated His praise. And this was what King Armstrong did.

God – be glorified – said in the Quran 11: 49

تِلْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاء الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهَا إِلَيْكَ مَا كُنتَ تَعْلَمُهَا أَنتَ وَلاَ قَوْمُكَ مِن قَبْلِ هَذَا ...الخ​

The explanation: (These [stories and tidings] are [some] of the tidings of 'the Unknown' which We reveal to you [Mohammed]; you did not know them, neither did your people, before this [revelation] …etc)

roflmao You are such a funny fellow. I am sorry to deviate from the topic but I just have to thank you for the laughs you provide. Both the Quran and the Bible have provided plenty of evidence to suggest that they are books of fiction which may contain the odd fact. This only makes them suspect as to validity and certainly does not inspire confidence in factual basis. In other words, they are decidedly lacking in science. Neither show any evidence of scientific method.

BTW, I drink Bombay Sapphire gin, Appleton's Estate rum, and Jameson's or Connemara Irish whisky, all with no mix except for a bit of water occasionally. Guinness' stout or G's Cream Ale, and Tuborg, but outside of the GUinness, I am not as particular about my beers.

Isay: I don't know precisely; but it is something that gives taste, flavor and smell.
In Arabic the "camphor" is called "kafoor".

There is difference in language and tongue among nations and between the ancient and the recent generations.
E.g. John (he is Prophet John Babtist, the cousin of Jesus Christ)
John in English
Yahya in Arabic (which means: he will live; I think he was weak at birth, and may be of low birth weight, because he was born to old man and old woman: his parents; and God gave him this name to assure his parents that "he sahll live")
Yokhanna in the original language.​

In the Quran, God – be glorified – called him according to the meaning of the word and according to the Arabic tongue.​

Another example:
Simon Peter:
His original name was:
Shamoon (in Hebrew)
Samaan (in Arabic)
Which may be similar to Ismael (in English Ishmael) which means "God has heard" the supplication of Prophet Abraham and give him his son Ismael.​

I gave these as examples, but I am not expert in some of these languages, but I derived such information from the interpretation of the late interpreter of the Quran and the Bible.
