Perhaps you should read Zackariah Sichen's 12th Planet. He explains the guys who were hundreds of years old rather clearly. As for the Gospels being written within 48 days of the mythical resurrection, now who is dealing in fairy tales?
There is also a series called Gor that is run by some 'priest-kings' that look just like very large ants, what's your point. Both examples are references to books that were wrtten with making money the only object in sight. It would seem the writers of any of the 66 Books would seem to have given up things rather than being enriched during their actual lifetimes, some died. Know any other writers of fiction that would go that far?
As to when they were written ..... I assume you would agree that in reading them they would appear to be written in the 1st person rather than being something based on 'oral tales that happened in past generations. None of the 4 Gospels go past the resurrection and cover His departure 40 days later, that gives the earliest possible time they were written. Technically it adheres to certain verses also.
These two verses give the earliest time they could have started to write.
Joh:14:26:
But the Comforter,
which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.
Joh:20:21:
Then said Jesus to them again,
Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me,
even so send I you.
Joh:20:22:
And when he had said this,
he breathed on them,
and saith unto them,
Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
How retarded to try and say history shows they were written decades after the event and still try and say getting the 'WORD' out had any priority at all. If anything God has shown Humself to be quite punctual when it comes to dealing with promises, nor is He likely to be slack when given 'free reign'. How long between the eating of the forbidden fruit and when God first called out to them? How about an hour, that would qualify? It doesn't seem to have been a long time in that they were still childless.
No writer of the NT could have been under 30 when 1st called, add to that another 40 years (being called and the destruction in 70AD they would have been at least 70. Their ministry would be coming to an end, except the writer of John's 5 books.
The first 3 Gospels don't get into the details of events after the resurrection. John does and this verse is written while Jesus is still there. If reporting on the 'little things' then the bigger things like the departure in Acts would have been covered.
Joh:21:24:
This is the disciple which testifieth of these things,
and wrote these things:
and we know that his testimony is true.
Joh:21:25:
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which,
if they should be written every one,
I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.
Amen.
