Black helicopters? Get real.... If Big Brother wants to go incognito, the chopper will be lime green with a hot pink #6 slapped on.

What's wrong with a Hindu religious symbol attached to a Conservative tag? Didn't Harpo want to attract the ethnic vote?

Some people, not me, believe that black helicopters are watching them.

And you darn well that Jack_of_Spade intends for that to be a swastika. What a knucklehead!

Hasn't Jesus taught you not to make assumptions? A swastika is straight-edged - unless it's the town in Northern Ontario. Why keep the Nazi movement alive?

Yes he did, but I'm not assuming anything! If you read his posts, he isn't happy with the current Conservative party. That's obviously why he defaced their logo.

I don't understand your question "Why keep the nazi movement alive?". Who me? How am I keeping it alive?

I thought the swastika was a bhuddist symbol of peace and elightenment

In "The Swastika," Folklore, Vol. 55, No. 4 (Dec., 1944), pp. 167-168, W. G. V. Balchin says the word swastika is of Sanskrit origin and the symbol is one of good luck or a charm or a religious symbol (the last, among the Jains and Buddhists)

This nonsensical blathering about what JoS has pasted on the Conservative emblem, is as ridiculous as the weapon reticle v surveyors reticle.

We all know what the intended image is supposed to be.

Of course we do, and it is a little ridiculous so let us make fun of it.

To clarify I was referring to the negative post rating you gave me! Very undiplomatic!

I'm not a Diplomat.... I'm one of those Meat-Eating Artistic Hippy-Types who thinks he knows everything.

Well I got blond hair and I am offended by the term "ginger". Someone's got to stick up for the little guys, they got recessive genes ya know, that usually means poor fighting skills. hehe, lmao ;)

Actually, we're known more for our anger issues, violent tempers and tendency to swing fists..... why do you think the Irish are known to be heavy drinkers and fight all the time?

Uh... I just looked back at my post to confirm that I did NOT use a flaming angry icon. Not in my post to you that is...

I know it wasn't in the post towards me, it was in the post of yours that I originally responded to..... showing hate towards someone else, thus still proving my point.

*alley merely has the wind knocked out of him for a second and gathers himself on the ground, thinking quickly, alley kick sweeps Prax's leg from out under him...*

I'm sorry, I've heard of chickens running around for a few seconds with their head cut off, but the above is pretty impressive :p

I don't think Jack was shrill at all, Cannuck, if anything he was on message and actually sharp and funny, IMHO. Iggy wins the shrill award - at least for the first hour or more. Gilles was incomprehensible at times - but then I am hard of hearing. Harper was calm, collected, on message and unflappable - just the way I hoped he would be.

Lol, I still remember the debate in the last election when Jack made the comment about Harper hiding some document under his sweater

According to the polls, Harper made out the best.

Heads up, Sheeple:
You know who else had the gift of the gab - Hitler, that's who.
Even with a minority, Harper has already proven himself out to be the great little dictator.
Whenever OUR democratic process got in his way, he has micro managed a way around it.

If given the opportunity, him and his corp buds will make us America North.
The question is - do we really want to be American, now that the their corp takeover is turning their dream into a freakin nightmare?
Vote Harper, and find out. ( ;

I could not comment on the debate until I watched it . So I did. Its funny I was telling my coworker that I was going to watch it and imitated Harper and his robot gestures just like canadian farce show . Its true he realy does act like a robot when he speaks! Anyway I don't know why the polls would say Harper won ???? Clearly Jack the was scoring all the points! Harper spent the whole time defending himself and repeating what he said through out his campain.Even when 2 leaders would confess colabarating with him on the goverment take over from the Liberal he denied it. Ygnatia had good point but the fact his the Liberals and Concervatives are mostly clones of each other and both liars . Ducept and Layton came off as honest . I gained alot of respect for Jack at this debate.

Harper kicked the a$$es of all three party members tonight. Jack, Iggy, and Gilles presented themselves as shrill and overdramatic while Harper was consistently calm and collect. The way he handled himself was absolutely outstanding, and this debate did not hurt him in the least.

If anything, this debate has bumped the conservatives standing.

If the Left in this Country wants to see a Liberal ruling Government anytime soon they better start working on a vision and abandon the dead wood and lunacy that surrounds them. Especially the idiots who lack the intellect to construct an argument without the shrill and rather pathetic Nazi comparisons.

Seriously??? You watched the debate and what you observed was Harper kicking ass???? Ive never witnessed anyone so robotic in his responce! Not to mention in complete denial on national TV about why his goverment was disolve. I have no partie loyalty and from where I was sitting Jack was clearly the winner! Gille did well and if he was representing the intress of Canada I would have actualy concidered voting for him . But as it is Jack scored the best and if you didn't see that your not a discriminate voter your a Concervative Clone!

See, before I even began voting a few years back, I had no party affiliation either. Why I began voting for the NDP was completely based on their platform, how they conducted themselves, how they explained themselves during debates and how they didn't beat around the bush when questioned about something. They talked like human beings and didn't act like they were above everybody else.... because of that, they got my vote the last two-three times.

And in the last election, like this election's debates, Jack Layton and even Duceppe both held their own and actually presented themselves in a much more solid manner then Dion, Iggy & Harper, who all just stick to the same old fashion tactics, have all kinds to say, but nothing worthwhile when you actually think about what they're saying.

Comparing of Ignatieff with Trudeau.. both intellectuals, with healthy doses of academic arrogance, is Ignatieff lacks Trudeau's rapier wit, biting sarcasm.. and his killer instinct. That would have helped him immensely in these debates.
