You could care less who's in charge? Heck you had no idea of who was in charge!
Uh...yeah. Usually when I don't care about something, I don't follow it.

Honestly, I am pumped that a Canadian is calling the shots.
No kidding.

Me? I get pumped when my stocks go up or when the prospect of satisfying intimacy with a female is on the horizon or maybe driving a fast car/bike down a great, winding road.

Pumped over which general is 'in charge' of the intervention forces? Uhhhh....no.

No offense, but I hope my life is never at the point where that gets me 'pumped'.

But, each to their own so...enjoy being pumped over this.

Have a pumped day.

So if this Canuck General gives an order to an American that goes against a standing order from Obama or the Joint Chiefs - the Yankee will obey the Canuck?

Yeah...right.

Have a nice day.

Your only hope is that Stem Cell Research will lead to their ability to regenerate dumb brain cells. I am praying for you.

And the fact that you even care proves how sad you are to take the time out to make negative comments on a chat forum, about a nothing subject like this.

I have seen nothing on any Canadian publication (at least nothing prominent) about some Canadian military trained minion being made the figurehead of this pathetic operation?
So either a) I missed it.
Or b) it was not mentioned prominently because the media realizes that almost no one cares - except really sad people.

Heck, you cannot even let one of you try and debate with me - you all have to try and jump on the bandwagon.

Sad.

I am guessing you guys are ex- or wannabe trained minions - er - I mean military.

Have FAR more fulfilled days - you all obviously need it.

Figurehead... Hardly. He's running the show. Not much fun now is it? :)

The Montreal Gazzette...

Canadian general takes over NATO mission in Libya

The CBC...

Canadian general takes over NATO mission in Libya

Satisfied?

Yes. You missed it.

Wrong answer.

Heck, you cannot even let one of you try and debate with me - you all have to try and jump on the bandwagon.

What is there to debate? You were wrong.

Sad.

Never let our conservatives "friends" be accused of matching the proper response with the correct cause.

First they barge into Iraq on the premise of protecting us all from WMD and then comes the fall-back, "face saving" excuse that it was all done to save that nation from an evil tyrant.

In Lybia where there is a strong public request to protect them from the "tender mercies" of an evil tyrant, our conservative "friends: do a complete 180 degree reversal and suddenly start shedding "crocodile tears" over collateral damage - real or imagined.

One gets the distinct impression that since the Bush Administration failed in Iraq, there sense of fairness demands that the Obama Administration be condemned for Lybia - even before history has had a chance to run its course!
