I don't recall making any comment on smoking or inhaling other pollutants.

lol... you said 'all a person needs for health is good food and exercise'. She was picking on the wording (it made me laugh too). Because obviously health is decided by other factors too.

No, if you think it's 'all' you need, you're sorely mistaken. You also need to have perfect genetics. You need to not be exposed to viruses or bacteria that can damage your body or genetics. You need to never suffer an injury.

There's a LOT more that you need than just to eat well and exercise. lol.

Yep, genetics plays an important role alright, but it's also an aspect there is absolutely nothing you can do anything about. Unfortunately some people just have a weak makeup and that's sad. But for the rest of us if we eat a healthy diet and get some strenuous exercise and do everything else in moderation we'll probably live a fairly healthy life. NOw that's not to say a comet won't fall out of the sky and land on our head.

I think most of those other factors lead to 'unhealthiness',
not 'good health', you're right, good food and excercise.
The comet thing, ehhh!!!!

lmao I was just teasing you, JLM. You said, "All a person needs for health is good food and exercise", leaving out other factors affecting health. lol If life would be just so simple as exercising and eating properly. ;)

A Cupful of Health Benefits

Here's the opener of an interesting article on Coffee...

Full story is at: http://www.naturalnews.com:80/028036_coffee_antioxidants.html

"If coffee were harmful, then every morning emergency rooms around the world would be choked with people suffering the ill effects of our favorite breakfast beverage. Of course, this isn't the case. Coffee is not harmful. On the contrary, I consider it to be a health food, and hundreds of studies bear this out."

Julian Whitaker, MD, is the author of Health & Healing, a monthly newsletter that has reached millions of readers since 1991. He has also written 13 books and hosts The Dr. Whitaker Show, a popular radio program. In 1979, Dr. Whitaker founded the Whitaker Wellness Institute. I took a look at his site and I think what he prescribes is probably good, but I see he wants $$$$$$$$$$$$. I think I can come up with a menu/ regiman that is a lot simpler and I could provide at a much lower price....................:lol::lol: I'm not giving away too many secrets before I get some cash in hand. First get a full physical check up and then walk over to your nearest multi storey building and walk up and down the stairs for an hour. I'll disclose more when I see some money...................:lol::lol:

No need to buy expensive treadmills on my plan.
