The end of capitalism has begun, but what will replace it?

I'm Shawnee. I'd ask what you are, but "fool" covers it just fine.

So I am the "fool" and you are the "brilliant"? Anyhow, I prefer to call you the "lucky" because you survived while the rest of most of your people were eradicated from the continent of America.
Then why are you so furious against us: the Arab and Muslims?

Do you know why the American gov. allies with Tel Aviv against the Palestinians and the Arab?
it is because there is much similarity between the two:
The white people of America almost eradicated the Red Indians, and settled in their land; and they like that the Zionists may also eradicate the Palestinians and settle instead of them in their country.

If you say so. I didn't say that. I just said the first part.

I'm not. I'm perfectly happy for y'all to screw up your chunk of land. I just point out (as I do with Christians) that not only is your theology a fairy tale/revenge fantasy, but even the believers don't adhere to it.

Do you know why the American gov. allies with Tel Aviv against the Palestinians and the Arab?
To please the powerful Jewish lobby and to have a staging area to wage war in the Middle East if we feel like it.

it is because there is much similarity between the two:
Yep.

The white people of America almost eradicated the Red Indians, and settled in their land; and they like that the Zionists may also eradicate the Palestinians and settle instead of them in their country.
Sounds good to me.

The Brits partitioned Arabia. The Arabs got almost all of it, the Jews got a little bit. Then the Arabs foolishly attacked them, and the Jews got more.

And I don't care. Y'all wanna fight over it? Feel free. If I was in charge, we wouldn't send a single bullet or a single candy bar to either side. No point in getting involved in other folks' irrational hatred, especially when it's driven by their fictional Big Sky Daddy.

But you aren't?

We'll see! Sometimes you have to stick with a philosophy even when some aspects buck the general trend. A Dipper candidate locally might be better than all of the candidates in Ottawa. Like I've mentioned before, What works, supersedes political orientation. The odd person will run where's there's an opening, although the party philosophy may not coincide 100% with their own.

I usually vote for a candidate, not a party. Just so happens that certain parties attract better people.

That is smart thinking, but you probably should have ended it there.

If I said I always vote for environmentalist candidates, it wouldn't be controversial to say that although I read candidate biographies I always end up voting Green. In reality, I like to vote for good people with a history of helping people in their community. I read candidate biographies and usually end up voting the same parties. Is it a coincidence? I'm ideologically a socialist and my criteria for voting for good people might conceivable result in me voting conservative. But, you know, it's never come up.

Yeah, it's a tough decision (if you are really trying to vote as is best for the electorate) but you don't want to blow a cerebral artery over it either.

I usually vote for the tall one. Makes as much sense as anything else.

Some people might interpret that to mean you are prejudiced against women.

Meh, parties should be banned. Politics is no better than religions. It's all a power grab.
"The end of capitalism has begun"? I don't believe it for two reasons: 1. Whoever has the gold makes the rules (The Golden Rule) and 2. In communism (or whatever brand you prefer), people exploit people and in capitalism, it's the reverse.
Human nature is human nature.

Northern Ontario,
A perfect democracy would be if everyone could get to vote on every single item....but then....not everyone is informed enough to do that...
As it is....even the news we get are written by someone with an ideology or an agenda of some kind.....
So we muddle along, and no matter who gets elected....somebody will not be happy with the results..

It really does not matter much who you vote for. We are basically governed by corporations. Corporations allow governments to exist because they don't want to be bothered with crap like building roads and hospitals and deciding who gets a passport and hiring police to try stemming drug trade and so on.
