And both of them rely on the same fundamental principle. . . It ain't about you.

"Yet it moves" and "a country of laws not men" are the principles a higher reality than the way the individual wants it to be.

Many times science is just wrong. The record of neither is flawless, but the trend is upward for centuries
Science is never wrong by itself. One of the few places where not getting the answer you were hoping for is still the correct answer. The problem comes when interpretation of the results is based on who is paying the bill.

The materialistic thinking is wrong, and the materialist is in error
Every living being will die sooner or later; the next spiritual afterlife is true. The materialist is a loser, because he chooses to deny God and the Next Life.
The materialist view of things is wrong: he is blind to the spiritual life while all past generations died.
Therefore, the atheist and the materialist insists on his views pretending it the truth while it is the falsehood.
Who denies the science and knowledge which God gives to people in order to live a better life and to have a high level of intellect!?

These great ayat of the Quran speaks about the materialist who denied the message of the messenger of God and who denied the Next Life.

Soora 50

(In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

(1. Qaf.
[This abbreviated Arabic letter means:]
Guardian! b
By the glorious Quran!
......................................................................................................................................................................
b i.e. Mohammed is a guardian on you, who desires every blessing to you, like the guardian of orphans who brings them up and takes care about their affairs, but is neither mad nor magician.

2. Now they surprise that there has come to them a warner [: Mohammed, the son of Abdullah] from among themselves; so the disbelievers say: "This [indeed] is a strange thing."

3. "Is [it true] that when we die and become dust, [we will then be recreated and will return to be alive once again?]
Such a returning is far [from reason.]"

[Therefore, God – be glorified – said:]
4. Well we know that which the earth consumes of their [bodies, but not the souls.]
And with Us is a book [in which their deeds are written], preserved [with Us.]

5. But they have denied the truth when it has come to them, therefore they are now in confused state [: of doubting.]

6. Will they not look at [and consider] the sky above them: how We have constructed it [in gaseous layers packed one over another] and adorned it [with the planets and meteors], and that it has no gaps [between its layers]?

7. And the earth have We supplemented [with dust particles, meteorites and gases],
and cast on it [mountains] that heavily landed,
and planted on it all pleasant kinds [of plant.]

8. As an insight [for God’s servants] and an admonition to every servant who turns [to God with repentance and obedience.]

9. And We sent down from the sky [rain] water as a blessing, and caused to grow therewith gardens and the harvest grain [of crops.]

10. And 'tall graceful' palm trees, having spathes, piled up [each above the other.]

11. [We made such plants, seeds and fruits as] a provision for [Our] servants, and with the [rain water] We quicken a dead land.
Even so will be [your] going out [of Mecca and your migration to Medina.]
)

The illusion of 15 million Jews vs 1.5 billion Muslims:
To answer this, I say:
Jews, having their Torah and prophets, were conquered by Nebuchodonsor the idolater!!
And why was Pharaoh set on the Israelite for some hundreds of years: to persecute them: killing their male babies and saving their female babies in addition to other kinds of persecution?
The answer:
God dislikes the idolaters and wrong-doers: those who wrong others and transgress on people, so that He misguides them and they become idolaters associating and worshiping others beside God Most Gracious.
So the Israelite in Egypt fell in the idolatry and they associated the idols of the ancient Egyptian who worshiped many idols like the ox or the calf, so He set on them an oppressor: Pharaoh who did more wrong than the wrong of the Israelite.
But certainly, not all the Israelite became idolaters; many of them like Aaron and his family and many others were righteous.
While many others like Korah were wrong-doers, transgressors and materialists.
And there was a promise from God to save the Israelite by the hand of Moses.

Later on the Israelite were obliged to follow Moses in the Exodus, then in spite of the miracles like the splitting of the sea and the drowning of Pharaoh and his host, the Israelite fell in the worship of the calf in the first opportunity when Moses went to the Mount to bring the Torah written on the Tablets.

Therefore, God's plan is to set on the Transgressor, someone that is worse in his transgression and persecution .. then to destroy the latter persecutor later on.

I say the situation of Muslims and Jews at present is similar to the situation of Jews and Nebuchodonosor in the past.
Now Jews have been strengthened and set on Muslims who [till now at least] could not resist them.
While Muslims have their Quran with them (but they do not commit themselves to its teachings), in spite of that Jews follow the falsehood and most of them are ungodly, atheists, homosexualists and non-religious.
The reason because Muslims themselves have fallen in the idolatry of worshiping and glorifying the tombs of the imams and sheikhs, in addition to their transgression on each other.
And God promised that the Islam religion will prevail over all other religions in the future.

A Warning to Jews of Perishing, If they do not believe in the Quran

That's your Allah the Beneficent and the Merciful, is it? He deliberately misleads wrong doers into even greater wrong doing then condemns them to an eternity of conscious torment for what he himself has done to them, when it's easily within his power to save them from their wrong doing and guide them into the correct ways. That's not beneficent and merciful, that's psychotic, and certainly one of the more evil ideas you're promoting.

God made the life of the World as a respite to people: If man corrects his conduct and repents from his evil work, God will forgive him and bestow mercy on him.
While if man changes his conduct from being modest and kind into arrogance and hard heart, God will misguide him and he will apostatize and will deserve the punishment in the Next Life.

Quran 5: 98, which means:
(Know that God is Severe in retribution a, and God is Most Forgiving b [and] Most Merciful c.)
....................................................................................................................................................................................................................

a To those who associate or join others with Him and contradict His commands.
b To those who devote themselves to God alone when they repent.
c To those who regret.

Therefore, if one sincerely desires that God may guide him: let him correct his conduct towards the neighbors, the kindred, the weak people, and let him refrain from the arrogance and ask God humbly to forgive him his past sins, and let him believe in God as One God not Three and not having any son or daughter or parents, but that God is the Eternal, none is like Him without having any patron or equal... then he will be guided and will go to Paradise in Heaven in the Next Life.

God made the World a test for His servants.
Man has the free will; if he chooses to do good and is kind to people, then he deserves the guidance; while if he chooses to wrong people and transgress on their rights, then he deserves the misguidance.
So….if someone chooses a religion that’s not your religion, or the correct sect of your religion…or no religion at all…then what? In your mind, can a non-Muslim possibly be “good or kind” (?) and will Your God instruct Muslims to punish them anyway for not being Muslim?
God dislikes the transgression and the bad manners of behavior and the hard heart of people, so He will punish them... God is the Almighty: His hand pummels his enemies.
Who decides what is a transgression against your God (?) and who’s hand “pummels his enemies” (?) in this world?
And He likes the good conduct, the kind heart, the kindness to orphans and widows and the weak, so He will reward them... God is the Most Merciful and will admit His righteous servants to Paradise.
If YOU follow YOUR religion and it governs YOUR behaviour, that’s YOUR choice. If YOU think others should be punished in the name of YOUR God for not following the rules of YOUR religion, do YOU honestly believe that’s YOUR Gods choice?

Can YOU answer this using YOUR own words without parroting someone else like a ventriloquist’s puppet?

(The reason YOU get a negative response most of the time is you don’t do YOUR own thinking or use YOUR own words. About a year ago when YOU replied to Walter as Habibi I laughed so hard….. and that was YOU and not somebody speaking through YOU)

Are YOU up to being YOU (?) and not someone else’s parrot?

One of the early Meccan sooras is the soora 69:
Soora 69

(In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful)
(1. [The Doomsday] 'that which will undoubtedly come true.'

[Then God – be glorified – said:]
2. What is 'that which will come true'!?

[Then God – be glorified – said:]
3. But do you know [when it will take place] 'that [Doomsday] which will come true'!?
4. [The tribes of] Thamood and Aad denied the 'Stunning' [Doomsday.]

[Then God – be glorified – started to explain how He destroyed such deniers of the messengers, and He said:]
5. As to Thamood: they were terminated by the 'extremely severe and successive' [earthquake.]

6. And as to Aad, they were destroyed by a roaring, violent storm.
7. Which He unleashed against them for seven nights and eight days [consecutive]; and which cut [the trees and palms] like [the cutting by the sword]; so that you would see the people laid [prostrate: dead on the ground], as if they were hollow stems of palm-trees.
8. And can you see any of them left surviving!? [No, they all perished.]

9. Pharaoh, and before him the [nations who denied their apostles], and the overturned [cities of Lot's people; all of them] invented the false [doctrine.]
10. And they [: each of them] rebelled against the messenger of their Lord; so He overtook them with a surpassing overtaking [with punishment.]
11. When the waters surged [in the time of Noah], We bore you [: your ancestors and grandfathers] in the [ship] that sailed [upon the water.]
12. To make that [event] an admonition for you i, and that the attentive ear may receive it.)

The complete explanation by Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly:

God made the World a test for His servants.
What kind of test is it when the tester is omnipotent and omniscient and already knows what the results will be?
Man has the free will;
Not in your faith he doesn't. All things are as Allah wills, if he's using his power and knowledge to misguide people into wrong doing they no longer have the choice to be good or not. And really even those that are good didn't get to choose, that too is as Allah wills. You cannot logically claim both that mankind has free will and that all things are as Allah wills, Allah's the only one with any choices.

True: God is Omnipotent and Omniscient and already knows what the result will be; but He let man have the free will to choose.

if he's using his power and knowledge to misguide people into wrong doing they no longer have the choice to be good or not.
He does not misguide people into wrong doing; but God misguides the wrong-doer: i.e. He misguides the one who deserves the misguidance because of his wrong-doing and transgression, and He guides the one who deserves the guidance, because of his good doing and kindness.

Quran 14: 4, which means:
(We did not send any messenger [before you, Mohammed], but only [to teach] in the language of his [own] people, in order to explain to them [the statements of His religion h.]
So God would lead astray those whom He please and would guide whom He please i,
and He is the Almighty [in His kingdom j] , the Most Wise [in His acts.])
..................................................................................................................................................................................................

h And so they would not then need any translator. As such have We sent you, Mohammed, in the language of your people in order to explain to them.
i It means: He would misguide any who deserves the misguidance on account of his bad acts and his wronging people. And God guides any who deserves guidance because of his kindness to people and his mercy to the weak and needy.
j He does whatever He likes.

You call that logic? If your choice is constrained by what the tester already knows to be true, you don't have the freedom to choose, you have only an illusion of it because you don't know a priori what you're going to choose. And what possible difference is there between misguiding the wrong doer and misguiding the wrong doer into wrong doing? He's obviously not guiding him into doing right, so what is he guiding him into?

Circular reasoning. Calvinists do the same thing.

Once you accept the existence of the Great Big Sky Daddy without a scintilla of evidence, you'll naturally be awed by His Holy Circus's mental masturbation.

Try not to get any in your eyes.
