Duceppe also says he's still open to supporting other parties, including the Conservatives, as long as it's in Quebec's best interest.

I believe that Duceppe and his separatists should not be allowed to be in Canada let alone be financed by our Canadian government . That`s not very clever way to run a country .

Democratic political systems aren't supposed to be easy, it's what makes it hard for the tyrants waiting in the wings to take over.

So when Harper and his conservatives have been doing everything they can to ease their passage to power including repeatedly shutting down our House of Commons, it's not for our benefit it's for theirs.

Giving the conservatives a majority would be like selling Canada to the special interests behind Harper and the conservatives, mainly the fossil fuel sector.

For a RREAL coalition might as well invite the Marxist-Leninist Party, The Communist Party and let the Nazi Party come out from under the shadows.

At least not of them would try to destroy Canada as the Boc Quebecois does.

Sorry YJ but I really hate to tell ya the entire globe is going Maoist commie. A vote for Steve or a vote for Iggy or a vote for Jack or Gilles is still a vote for socialism. It always has been and always will be.

Just like the Iron Lady said: "Socialism is fine until they run out of other people's money".

A coalition with the Bloc would have solidified Canada...They would have had to act as PART OF /1 WITH , a coalition..Eventually There will have to be some sort of a merger...There's too many politicians/Political parties ..Too few Citizens to go around...

I heard, some where, that Canada has more politicians per capita than all other countries....Anyone ?..:)

This is all I could find to back my hears say .. More MPs, more money | Alberta | News | Edmonton Sun

Is Canada too political ?...

Time for a coalition/merger...N.D.G ....( New Democratic Greens);)...

Oh NO! Are you trying to give the conservatives a heart attack?

The whole separatist movement is a smoke screen to keep the country divided and the conservatives are the ones who are perpetrating the separation by their hatred of anything Quebec. It is time to stop this pubescent fixation. There will never be a strong Canada until we start getting along and unite. All this animosity serves the purpose of those in control - "Divide and Conquer". Continue with all this anti-Quebec nonsense and you get what you deserve - minority conservative governments.

Then why is it allowed to be a part of Canadian government ,get rid of them -tomorrow - a sober solution .

See china, that's difference between a communist and a democratic government. The Bloc MP's were democratically elected. The people of Quebec have chosen who they want to represent them. A bit of a foreign concept to a Chinese Communist Party todie I know.

And once again (unfortunetly) the progressive socialists bailed out the capitalists who didn't pay their debts but went and bought more assets. The Iron Lady seems to be having a same sex romp with the Copper Lady in NY harbour.

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE .....in communism it`,s people taking an advantage of other people ; in democracy ........it is the other way around -get it ,

The Bloc MP's were democratically elected. The people of Quebec have chosen who they want to represent them.
........ it doesn`t matter how they were elected ; they want to separate from Canada and they have elected the separatists , is that hard to understand. They are a waste of time and money in the houce of commons and in Canada as a whole .
The block is a nuisance; get rid of it ; tomorrow !

A bit of a foreign concept to a Chinese Communist Party todie I know.
No meant to be an insult , but I don,t think you do know very much about China.

Because the people of Quebec elected them to represent them.....and respect for the wishes of the people is much more important that respect for the health of a political institution such as a nation.

It is called democracy, freedom of choice, it is what has made the west great.

There is, however, absolutely NO need to incorporate them as part of the government.....that is national suicide..........

While I'm on the subject.....not only will Harper et al reach for a majoerity using the spectre of the Separatist Coalition to win votes.........they also have another winner in their bag of tricks:

the $1.95 per vote taken in the last election paid out to each political party every year....at a cost of about $30 million per year.

Your tax dollars flowing unimpeded to the seditious Bloc, the amoral Liberals, the idiot NDP..................I can't stand it!

The Coalition was created instantly when Harper set out to pull the political parties" lips away from the public tit....just a bit. They would still get their donation subsidies (donate $100 to a political party, and you get a $75 tax credit, NOT a deduction, a refundable credit.....) but the opposition couldn't stand the idea that they would depend on the generousity of their true believers.....and revolted... (the opposition is revolting? Did I just say that? lol)

Harper will bring it on, and make it an election promise this time..........as he should.

And for all you damned socialist, semi-socialst, separatist lefty whiners out there, if you REALLY have a political philosophy, put your money where your mouth is.....get INVOLVED in a political party and DONATE.

Or STFU.

That's is not a guaranteed win of a majority for Harper, that's for sure.....but it is a damed good couple of hits against the opposition.

One term Conservative majority....its time.

Colpy's comments are written , arranged and payed for by Ctv and The Associated Conservatives...His comments do not reflect the opinons of Canadiancontent or the majority of its contributers ..and should not be misconstrued as such ..;)....:)

Colpy I've never heard you so Verbally Aggressive before......It suits you man ...;) Good stuff...(For a Solid True Blue blooded Conservative)...

Bet I know who you'll ALWAYS vote for..

5 into 2 into 1...There's Too many politiicians in The Canadian Government ....Two parties Green/Blue ..Could run this country better than the current 5 parties .....( would be willing to accept three parties.... if it's absolutley totally neccessary inorder to keep this Country together)

There will have to be a merger sooner than later, if there is to be any chance of another majority in Canada..

I'll concede that if a merger were to take place ...The Conservatives would probably win the first Majority ....But ..oh ...After that ...There would be alot of positive change in Canada...
