No, the assumption made by some of those here are that everyone else is a bigot and/or a racist. I suppose if one is to post here, they need to have a thick skin and be prepared for the ambush. I'm sure Hoof didn't expect the reaction he got. I doubt if he's anti whatever he's been called since his post but there are those who simply spew venom because it makes them feel good. Well, whatever. Guess there are those who believe they are more "enlightened" than others and the rest of us suck!! LOL

According to Hoof, being Gay is a lifestyle choice.

Of course he's not. His babble about a 300-lb. gay man waving his junk around and his lies directed at me specifically that Indians boiled missionaries are clear evidence of his tolerance and wub for all humankind.

He's "sure" despite an utter lack of evidence that Indians boiled missionaries, and you're "sure" he's not a bigot.

Let's hear it for surety!

Yes lets!!!

Why did you just rekindle this thread??

I was quite content to just let it drift off into the mist.

Who is that guy? Can't be whom we assume, justin never walks solo or sports an untucked shirt n' that somber countenance is truly untrudoughlike. This chap also obviously missed his coiffeur appointment which we know junior would never do as there may be a camera lurking somewhere.
Saw on the news how much the french guy macron spends for facials n' such and it set me to wondering about how much we spend on juniors beauticians.

I have solid, gainful employment...a lovely wife...two amazing little girls...a healthy social life...etc.

It's incredible how inured one can become to a forum full of shiftless layabouts who have never accomplished squat, pontificating on the current events of the day.

Getting called 'anti-gay'...mean-spirited attacks on my reputation...etc. All because I brought up a topic for discussion from my young daughter.

Screw off Murph! You're past your best before date.

Social justice must prevail !!! It is the only important thing to do.

They also hijacked the word "GAY". I'm just old enough to remember when that word had a different meaning..

Well, she can always put a swastika on her bag, because our white right constantly assures us it's a symbol of peace and harmony.

Yep. It's an ancient religious icon used in the Indian subcontinent, east Asia and south east Asia. It is the sacred symbol of the Buddhist, Hindu and Jain people and is a symbol of auspiciousness and good luck.

The swastika is a good luck symbol that the Nazis hijacked.

Now I don't care enough about the swastika. But if I did, I'd wear it according to its traditional significance just to stick it to the Nazis.

Sorry to displease, but I don't care enough about the rainbow either.

How the swastika was meant to be worn:

Isn't it funny how you were given a -1 just for stating a fact? Strange times we live in.

'LIFESTYLE VIOLATIONS': Private school gives teen the boot for wearing rainbow shirt

Teen Kayla Kenney was kicked out of a private school for wearing a rainbow shirt on her birthday. (Facebook)
A private school in Kentucky has given the boot to a 15-year-old student after a photo of her wearing a rainbow shirt on her birthday surfaced on social media.
The Louisville-based Whitefield Academy expelled student Kayla Kennedy after stating the photo of the smiling teen was the latest in a couple of year’s worth of “lifestyle violations,” according to the New York Daily News.
The photo in question depicts a smiling Kennedy wearing a rainbow shirt sitting behind an equally-colourful birthday cake at a local restaurant. The photo was uploaded to Facebook by the teen’s mother, Kimberly Alford, on Dec. 31, 2019.
“She was happy, she looked beautiful,” Alford told news outlet WAVE 3. “You know, of course as a mom, I took her picture of her blowing out her candles and I posted that on my Facebook page.”
The photo was soon shared with Whitefield Academy staff, who weren’t impressed. School head Dr. Bruce Jacobson contacted Alford about the photo and Kennedy’s expelling.
Story continues below
“I feel judged, she feels judged, just very devastating for us,” Alford said.
According to Jacobson, the photo “demonstrates a posture of morality and cultural acceptance contrary to that of Whitefield Academy’s beliefs,” WAVE 3 reported.
The private school’s code of conduct addresses sexual orientation, noting if a student’s behaviour off-campus doesn’t line up with Whitefield Academy’s beliefs, that student can be disciplined.
The girl’s mother isn’t sure how a rainbow shirt led the school to come to that conclusion. Alford said she has filed an appeal against the expulsion and claims school officials have refused to meet with the family.
However, the school agreed to list Kennedy’s withdrawal as voluntary so it won’t show up on her school record.
For now, the 15-year-old teen will attend a public school.
