Mental illness is breaking out all over.A SOMALI teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was stabbed to death and five people injured in an attack in central London. [...]There will be an increased police presence in response to the random spontaneity.
Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley, said: "Whilst the investigation is not yet complete - all of the work that we have done so far, increasingly points to this tragic incident as having been triggered by mental health issues.
"At this time we believe this was a spontaneous attack and the victims were selected at random."

London wakes to greater police presence after Russell Square attack
This is a disturbing new trend: the MSM and the authorities blaming Islamist terror attacks on "mental health issues".
It's as though, over the last few months, they've suddenly come up with a good way to not blame the attacks on Islam: "I know, let's just say the guy was suffering from a history of mental illness!"
They did the same with the Nice attacker; now they've done the same with this attack in London, which is reminiscent of the Woolwich attack. So I think this is something we are going to see al lot of in the future whenever an Islamist attack occurs: the media will just come out and say it was mental illness and "not Islamism", and so will the police.
Funnily enough, one instance where most of the emdia DIDN'T blame the attack on mental illness was the Jo Cox murder, which was perpetrated by a white man. To the press, he was a "Far-right extremist with links to Britain First" and tried to smear all potential Leave voters as being the same as him. THis was despite the fact that the killer DOES, beyond doubt, have a long history of mental illness.
They say he's "Somali Norwegian" but, apparently, he's been living in Britain since he was a little boy, for most of his life.
The victim is named as Darlene Horton from Florida, who was in London with her husband on holiday:

The US woman killed in a knife attack in central London has been named by police as 64-year-old Darlene Horton.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after she was killed and five other people were injured in Russell Square.
Florida State University (FSU) has confirmed Ms Horton was the wife of psychology professor Richard Wagner.
Two other women and three men received various injuries in the attack, which happened near the Imperial Hotel.
A British man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition while the others, an Israeli, and Australian and another American, have since been discharged.
After receiving treatment in hospital, the arrested man, who was detained in Bedford Place, is now in police custody in south London.
Norwegian police said in a statement the man had emigrated from Norway in 2002 and they were assisting London police.
The Met said they had searched an address in north London and another will be searched in south London.
The US ambassador to the UK, Matthew Barzun, said of the woman who died: "Heartbreaking news that a US citizen was killed in #RussellSquare attack. My prayers are with all the victims and their loved ones."
The couple had planned to return home to Tallahassee on Thursday.
'Terrible tragedy'
US Secretary of State John Kerry described the attacks as a "horrific mass stabbing" and said he grieved for the victims.
He paid tribute to London's emergency services saying: "I particularly want to thank the first responders for their extremely effective and courageous efforts to prevent this from having been worse."
And FSU President John Thrasher spoke of the university's "heartache" over the "terrible tragedy".
He said: "We are shocked that such senseless violence has touched our own FSU family, and we will do all we can to assist Professor Wagner and his loved ones, as well as his friends and colleagues in the Psychology department, as they mourn."
Israeli tourist Yovel Lewkowski was stabbed in the arm
One of the victims of the Russell Square attacks was 18-year-old Israeli tourist Yovel Lewkowski.
She described what happened: "I saw that she [Darlene Horton] was bleeding and I looked at my arm and realised he had stabbed me also. I was in shock.
"She was still breathing when I saw her but after a few minutes it was too late and it was so awful to watch."

Apparently, this wasn't a "terrorist" killing but that of a mentally deranged individual. I really hope this is true because getting angry at all Muslims is certainly not the way to resolve the issue of Islamic extremism. We need to be sure of who our enemies actually are. Mind you, that's not exactly a "cake walk" either. But over-reacting isn't going to help.
We need to discourage Sharia Law; emphasize the equality of all men and women (et al) under the law and ENFORCE that; charge individuals who practice FMG and participate in honor killings. We need to enforce our laws and those who break them need to be punished accordingly - no tolerance at all; no bleeding hearts. If we don't stand strong for our principles, we are doomed as a society. It's BECAUSE of our laws and civility that we have a society that's relatively free - but it's becoming less so when our way of living has come under attack, often from within.
Those wanting to accept Sharia and all the other stuff that goes with it - please go elsewhere as I don't want it here, thank you very much.

You want terrorist attacks to end and immigrants to stay home, stop bombing their countries to rubble and killing their women and children.
