I think people need to stop playing the 'we can misbehave because you do sometimes too' game, and just smarten the fu-ck up.

Pacheco Foundation for May in Glendale, Colo., had to be canceled because of, as the Denver Post noted, "safety concerns resulting from an onslaught of negative feedback received by the organization." The Foundation further noted, "Due to an onslaught of personal attacks against Gov. Palin and others associated with her appearance, it is with deep sadness and disappointment that, in the best interest of all, we cancel the event for safety concerns."
The event was to be a fundraiser for military families in need and to build a grief camp for children who had lost a parent in combat in service of their country.
The idea that any American cannot go to an American town and give a speech and not have her physical safety guaranteed should hit everyone like a two-by-four across the face. Palin is not a political office holder and is not currently running for any office. She is just an American woman with certain experience in public service with opinions and ideas. And there are people who want to harm her or even kill her just for that.
It is even more bitter to note that in each case, of Bush in Geneva and Palin in Colorado, the biggest losers are going to be the people for whom each charity was going to benefit.
The really sad part of the whole sordid state of affairs is that President Barack Obama, so eloquent after Tucson, Ariz., is silent when his own side is preventing public figures from speaking. The least he can do is to say that threatening to hurt people if they show up to help others in need is wrong. For shame.

1. Agent provocateur (FBI) dressed as a thug and shoots politician

3. Politically profit

Sarah Palin should remember that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
If she feels she is in danger when she goes to these cities and states because people have guns and will defend themselves, they are within their right under the Bill Of Rights of the United States Of America. God bless America and all that.

Toss violence at a non-violent group for an extended period of time and that non-violent group will soon turn violent as well...... it's a no brainer.

Well I think the citizens of Colorado aim to keep the rhetoric out by targeting the root cause of much of the
animosity in politics. By firing up the people and urging them to lock and load on the real trouble makers in Washington and well clearly Alaska, a fire fight for freedom and the rights of the people can result with the death throws of the scum bags who would take America hostage by force. Tip of the hat to those brave patriots in Colorado who hold their freedom and the glory of the USA above sneaky carpet baggers like Palin.
Many people get arrested without charge..... better to be safe then sorry.
Then again, police have been known to unjustly arrest someone based on a misunderstanding or false identification and then released...... just playing the ol devil's advocate here..... I couldn't care less, as I said..... all of this was bound to happen.... it's what happens when you push politics into this direction.

Sorry but the blame shift game doesn't work that way, otherwise rapists would be sending their victims to jail for not letting them commit their act because they got pepper sprayed, or got kicked in the balls....... police would be the ones sent to prison for shooting armed criminals and hostage takers....... our troops wouldn't be able to defend themselves from aggressors, etc. etc.
