Then they died...being on the plane and knowing where it will crash moments before it actually crashes is not the same thing as predicting where it will crash ahead of time, having the resources in place to recover diamonds.

I think what Goober meant was that the diamonds may not have ever been on the plane at all. Perhaps the diamonds were smuggled off the plane, and the plane destroyed to cover up that fact? I'm not saying that's what happened, just that it would be a powerful motive to perform a crime.

Hopefully they will someday find the truth of what happened. Not for the diamonds(missing or otherwise), but for the families of all the people that died that day.
