Bear: You're hurting the poor wannabe fireman's wibble feelings8O

Wannabe fireman? Obviously you haven't heard how little they get paid. That's my biggest issue with law enforcement. The crappy wages they are paying is not conducive to hiring good people. All they seem to get is people with uniform fetishes.

... in another instance, and this has happened twice so far, an rcmp officer has attended my personal residence with the electric company, claiming to be there to read my electricity meter ...

... these cops are absolutely clueless on the law -- and so is the electric company. it's illegal for the electric company to disclose any information about my electricity account to any third parties, including to the cops!

... and twice now i've been stopped by the rcmp simply for riding my bicycle. no laws being broken, not riding recklessly. the cops have just stopped me and yelled at me that i'm not riding my bike correctly and then they drive away ...

Perhaps you should ride your bike correctly.

... and in another instance i got charged by the rcmp for hitting a guy with my car. i've never hit anybody with a car in my whole life. they just made it up!

Did the other guy claim you did? Sounds sort of an odd thing to just make up. Assume it was thrown out of court?

... other rcmp bullsh*t: change your license plate immediately, you didn't stop at the stop sign properly, report to the police station for fingerprinting and photographs, report to the courthouse, put lights on your bike, put lights on your head, change your attire, do this, do that ...

... yes the cops in canada are stupid, they are dumb, and they are just plain ignorant ...

You're joking, right?

$70,000 plus per annum base for a first class constable is not poor wages, in fact it is damned good wages...........

Maybe where you are from (and you should check out the starting wages for RCMP officers)

"Starting salary for a newly hired regular constable is currently $46,003, which quickly rises to $74,539 after three years' service, including a probation period."

And that was two and a half years ago........

RCMP settles pay dispute with federal government - Canada - CBC News

And yes, my family income has reached $75,000 in a year perhaps three times, with both parents working, and I own my own home mortgage free, drive a decent car. When my kids were growing up, it was more apt to be 2/3 that.

$75,000 per year, before overtime, within 3 years of joining, is damned good wages.

Again, maybe where you are from. It certainly isn't attractive to most people which is why the RCMP is having such a tough time recruiting.

So that's why you want to be a Fireman.

No good deed, goes unpunished.

Given your history, I wouldn't try and read your meter without an armed escort either.

... and in another instance i got charged by the rcmp for hitting a guy with my car. i've never hit anybody with a car in my whole life. they just made it up!
Ya, I read all about that. How did the trial end?

Did the other guy claim you did? Sounds sort of an odd thing to just make up. Assume it was thrown out of court?
Nope.

... other rcmp bullsh*t: change your license plate immediately, you didn't stop at the stop sign properly, report to the police station for fingerprinting and photographs, report to the courthouse, put lights on your bike, put lights on your head, change your attire, do this, do that ...

I imagine asking you to operate a bicycle safely, is just stupid.

Again, maybe where you are from.
Not everybody wants to be a leach on the gov't teat in Alberta, like you.

It certainly isn't attractive to most people which is why the RCMP is having such a tough time recruiting.
Why the hell would anybody want to join a Police Force in this day and age, with chicken little nutters like you, keep claiming we live in a Police State?

Sheeeet Cannuck you are turning into a real pussy man.
Turning into?
