The future.. even shit hole Kapuskasing, Ontario has Solar Farms up here
LOL for sure it's a nasty hole if ever I saw one.

Speaking of northern Ontario last I was there I couldn't believe how windy it was all the time that's a place where wind power would work-to some degree anyway.

People don't hate renewable energy, they just hate bullsh!t.

If you buy a Volt and a Tesla and you have to plug it in, you have to ask, "Where is that energy coming from?"

If you pay carbon taxes to your government you have to ask, "Where is that carbon tax going? Is it going into R&D for technology that will advance renewable energy? Or is it just another tax going into general revenue?"

I think most people would like these things. I know I would.
You do realize money is fungible, yes? And that "this tax money is reserved for Purpose X" is a con game?

Speaking of batteries I just picked up an 18v Rigid circular saw and drill driver with a charger and 2 battery - one a 2 ahr and one a 4 ahr - they now have 5 ahr.

I cut the studs and sheathing for a 200 sq ft shed with a single charge - basically worked all day.

So now I have a corded Hitachi 7 1/4' circular saw that I will never use again.

Battery technology is just tremendous these days. The new hand tool are light and powerful and last a long time and actually charge up very quickly.

They have completely replaced corded tools except certain things maybe. I have seen cordless table saws and planers.

You drag the table saw around with you do you??

I have one on wheels yes.

and also on the battery topic I have a thing about the size of a cell phone that will jump start my truck about three times.

I am sure that you will be able to use one of these power banks to charge power tool batteries - just like they have them to charge cell phones now.
