So vote for a wealth ceiling that you could live with Zzarchov, nobody mentioned stripping your assets and sticking you in grey overalls. Collective programes such as our medicare are the most cost effective, that type of programe can and does work accross the board. I would be in favour of a modified mixed economy but with no opulent useless upper class. Individual initative can be rewarded and the needs of the majority can still be addressed simultaneously. Of course the rich ain't going to tell you that are they? Pure socialism is many generations in the future if it happens at all, and I agree with you I wouldn't like it myself. We will very shortly witness what happens when pure capitalism unwinds, again.

Again, missing a key point. I like the Idea of an opulent useless upper class, something to work towards. I could do with a little higher estate taxes mind you, we can't rely on everyone being Hiltons and Buffets to even the playing field for the newcomers.

I would rather before the cannons, then die under the heel of socialist largess and oppression.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::roll:

Be my guest. LIVE before the cannons? Poop before the cannons? Eat babies before the cannons? Kill socialists before the cannons? What?

Socialist largess is worser than Capitalist largess. Yup.

I'd ruther be oppressed by a Nazi than a Socialist. Yup.

Now we can look forward to page long quotation squares where you try and prove your opinions are more valid than anyone else's?

Look Nug, I've left you alone, try and show some semblance of maturity. It isn't my fault that your posts are void of a reasoned arguement at the best of times.

I think you are unaware of what it is to have a discussion or a reasoned debate. By all accounts, and your posts as evidence, I'ld say I hit the nail on the head there.

A reasoned debate or sharing of knowledge is sans the typical hyperbole, vulgarity, unsupported opinion, immaturity and crass sence of self rightousness, that permiate your posts.

But that's just my opinion. As you are welcome to your own.
Yes, yes your posts generally are.

:lol:You've left me alone! Well now, that's mighty white of ya, Bear. I just been a crappin my drawers here all along wonderin when you wuz comin to get me eh. Me hands'r shakin an everythin!

I think I can give a reasoned "arguement". Yep "I'ld" say that. I'll try and ease up one the "sensce" of self "rightousness" that "permiate" my posts. Sorry about that.

You wouldn't know what "a reasoned debate or sharing of knowledge" is, since your's are mostly pro neo conservative rantings with very few facts to backem, and a big soapbox to climb up on when someone disagrees with you.

Feel sorry for you actually. Carry on. I"d put you on ignore, but where could one get a laugh then?

Hope you enjoyed the one Christmas card you sent yourself.

(don't be doin this, ok. Not good for ya)

Dark Beaver, "So why don't we try democracy? ,,,cCould it be so bad to play by some agreements? I don't like regulation, but I would submit if the book was applied evenly.

You already submit to a book of rules thicker than you are tall. You want more rules, more submission. You are a bootlicker. You love regulation. You want to make the new rules, but you don't know what they are. Buy yourself a pair of boots.

A shortage of agreements may indeed exist at the UN (global) level, but you pine for more regulation in general, nothing specific, but just more and different.

You are a whiner. A man with nothing, of nothing, headed for nothing. Soon you will die of currently unspecified causes. Then you will go to Hell where you'll broil like a ballpark weiner. But maybe I'm just tired of being right all the time. What is your proposal anyway? I

Actually you know the regulations I want. Anything that regulates the breath out of capitalists, tilts the playing field back in my favour and eliminates my opposition and thier foul offspring.
Of the nothing for the nothing and nothing to all.
My proposal is global war, three sides, the left the right the rich, after the rich have been eliminated the left and the right will cooperate and peace and prosperity will rule the day. Needs fattening but the salient points are all there. Sixty forty power split left to right and we have a glob saving device. Send your paper and my staff will review.

My person says it's been done. Three sides. The rich won. I delivered your paper as usual at 6:00 AM this morning, you fat bastard.

Splendid, once again intelligent dialogue proves to be productive and benevolent. I think our next order of bussiness should be how to campainge for an even number of planets.

O contrare my tree chewing friend, odd is the tasteful choice in the matter, unless they are already even, in which case you've laid another one of your traps for me. You won't fool me this time...

Me even. You odd.

Does anyone remember what the second 'S' in U.S.S.R. stands for? And while I'm here I may as well add another two fine examples of socialism at work, East Germany compared to West Germany, and, the two Koreas.

...and the first is for the type of socialism it is. Check out the dictionary version of conservative. Funny thing, when you look at North Vietnam, it was the Democratic Republic of.... Who are the two big US political parties? Like ol' Will sez: What's in a name?

Woof!

Why do you reduce everything to semantics Wallyj? I could call my yard the Christian Socialist Democratic Republic of Beaveria. What would you expect to find if you took a vacation to my Republic. besides heaps of empty beer bottles.

The second 'S' in U.S.S.R. denoted the word 'Sucks'. The official name of the former Soviet Socialist Republic was 'United States Sucks Rectum". The former flag of the Republic depicted a hammer and sickle. The implication was that they was gonna 'pound the crap out of the yankee bastards' then 'carve them a new asshole'.

Gorbachev, however, ushered in a new "kinder" "gentler" Soviet Union. The name was dropped, the flag replaced, and socialism replaced with a new system of modified free enterprise.

I forgot to mention the people's paradise,CUBA. Socialism at its finest. I'll bet right now there are scores of mothers building rafts for thier children, all along the west coast of Florida, just wating for the right moment to launch thier off-spring to socialist heaven.
