It is not a question of benefit, it is a question of what persists after death. Facts are indifferent to "benefit."

These are the materialists who do not believe in the after- death world of spirits and souls.

(They say: "There is nothing but our [present] Worldly life; we die and our [children] live,

and nothing but Time [factors] destroy us."

Of that they have no knowledge, they merely conjecture.)

The above between brackets is the explanation of the aya 45 : 24

The devotion will lead you to the abode of God

The good works will lead you to heaven temporarily. The bad works will lead you to hell temporarily till you are transformed at least to a large extent. You may enter even the permanent liquid fire or hell for your endless sin, where you have to stay till you are completely transformed. The devotion (practical service without aspiration of any fruit in return) will lead you to the abode of God. If your devotion is limited to the energetic forms of the upper world or the past human incarnations, you have to return back from the abode of the God (Abrahma Bhuvanat..Gita). If your devotion is limited to your contemporary human incarnation, you will reach the abode of God forever (Yat Gatva na nivartante…Gita). Of course, you will be coming to the earth in human form along with the God in human form to assist Him in His mission so that you are in the permanent association of God.

After death soul takes a gaseous body containing all the systems like respiratory system

The souls escaping human gross bodies have gaseous bodies containing all the systems like respiratory system, as per the Veda.

The state of angel is completely different from the jivatman escaping the gross body after death. The jivatman is surrounded by the gaseous body as mentioned in the Veda (Manomayah praanashariara…). This jivatman is associated with digestive and respiratory systems, which are also subtle. The subtle nervous system also exists as in the case of angels. This gaseous body is referred to as smoke or dhuma in the Gita. These souls travel to the hell and suffer without food along with the horrible torture. Of course, the souls going to a little higher and better Pitru Loka, in the same line, get the food from the moon. This state is intermediate between the lower human beings and the higher angels.

Various upper worlds Martya Loka, Preta Loka, Naraka Loka , Pitru Loka

The Bhu Loka is subdivided into four sub-worlds and as we go up, the component of energy in the body increases gradually.
The Bhu Loka is the starting world, which is subdivided into Martya Loka, Preta Loka, Naraka Loka and Pitru Loka. The lowest Martya Loka is the region in which the human beings live with materialized human bodies. As we go up, the matter gets transformed into energy. In Pitru Loka, the body has a lot of energetic-phase and very little matter-phase. After pitru loka, the next bhuvar loka starts in which all the bodies are of complete energy. The respiratory and digestive systems in the body, become weaker and weaker as we go to Pitru Loka. The souls in Pitru Loka, take almost moonlight as their main food in which the concept of matter becomes almost negligible. The souls in the Pitru Loka or moon are almost having energetic bodies.

God exists in upperworlds in the same medium of that world

In the Preta Loka, God called as Dharma liberates some souls as ghosts. The same God is black in hell and of golden color in Pitru Loka.

God enters the bodies, which are relevant to the concerned worlds. In Preta Loka, God is having gaseous body which is partially energized. God here is called as Dharma Deva, who enquires the souls and gives judgment regarding their lines of journey. Some of these souls have very strong attachment to the world even after death and hence they are thrown down to martya loka by God pending the enquiry. They roam in this world as ghosts for sometime and then face the enquiry. The same God exists in the relevant bodies in hell (Naraka Loka) and Pitru Loka called as Yama. The body of Yama in hell is black, whereas it is of golden color in Pitru Loka, which represents the light of the moon. This black color is due to the major component of gaseous smoke in the body. Hence, the composition of matter and energy changes from sub-world to sub-world in the case of the same deity, Yama. This is an indication of the increase of intensity of radiation and a decrease of matter in the body as we go up.

Bhuvar Loka, Suvar Loka, Mahar Loka, Jana Loka, and Tapo Loka, Brahma Loka

From the second main upper world, Bhuvar Loka, the intensity of the energetic bodies increases gradually and the souls return from all the upper worlds.

The second main world is Bhuvar Loka or Dyu Loka or Jyotir Loka, where the body is full of energy only. The third upper world starting from the sun upto the Dhruva Star (Pole Star) is Suvar Loka or heaven. Above this, Mahar Loka, Jana Loka, and Tapo Loka exist. Finally, Brahma Loka exists. As the body goes to the upper and upper worlds the frequency or intensity of the energy increases. Including Brahma Loka, the soul returns back to the earth (Martya Loka) from all the upper worlds.

I didn't know the Hindus were into proselytizing.

Have you ever died? Do you remember past lives? Do you recall your time between incarnations? If not, you are just blowing smoke out your arse. I don't care if your holy book is six thousand years old, it is still just a bunch of ink on paper written by old men who did not know shyte from shinola. One cannot know the truth about life by hiding in caves contemplating their navels. All they will know is their navels. Life is the only teacher worth anything. All the books in the world will only give you knowledge, but life will give you wisdom - if you are paying attention. If your head is buried in holy books, you are missing life and will be sorely lacking in the wisdom department.

That is the wisdom of a life well lived, with eyes wide open, brain alert, soaking it all in, the
right way.

Only one Lord created this entire universe. He should have told the same knowledge everywhere in the world. The contradiction is only due to misunderstanding. In Hinduism also Sankara says that again human birth is almost impossible (Jantunaam Nara Janma Durlabhamidam). Sankara was the incarnation of Siva and so what He told is also authoritative. Even Gita says that the soul comes back to this world but does not say that the soul gets again the human birth (Ksheene Punye Martyalokam Visanti). In the second chapter, Gita speaks about rebirth but not about the human rebirth. Islam and Christianity say that the human birth is given only as a single chance. After this the final judgement is given. The soul either goes to the Lord or goes to the hell permanently. In Gita also there are two ways for the soul. Either the soul goes to the Lord and does not return back or the soul returns back to the world (Abrahma Bhuvanath, Yat Gatva). According to Gita, if the soul does not go to the Lord (Brahmaloka), it returns back after enjoying the fruits of incomplete spiritual effort. Therefore in this human birth, if the spiritual effort is completed, the soul goes to the Brahmaloka permanently.

If the spiritual effort is incomplete the soul may go up to any world below Brahmaloka, it will return back to this earth after enjoying the fruits of its incomplete spiritual effort. The soul may go up to the sixth world, it cannot go to the Brahmaloka, which is the seventh world by doing the remaining spiritual effort in the sixth world. The reason is once the soul leaves this earth all the upper worlds are only Bhogalokas i.e., the worlds in which the soul can enjoy the fruits, but cannot do any work (Karma). Therefore the soul has to return back to the earth. The soul will not get again another chance of human birth because once it is failed it can never succeed. Therefore the soul comes to the earth and falls into the cycle of animals and birds only. When the soul is trapped in this cycle of animal births, it is treated as a permanent hell.

If the soul goes to Brahmaloka it always accompanies the Lord either in Brahmaloka or may come back to the earth along with the Lord who takes the human incarnation. In such case the soul is born as a divine servant of the Lord. Such soul will not take rebirth in the cycle of animals. Thus for the divine soul also there is no such rebirth. In this way Hinduism, Islam and Christianity are correlated as one concept preached by the one Lord. Christians and Muslims are putting up sincere spiritual effort because there is a threat that this human life is the only chance. There is no reexamination according to these religions. This human birth is the only one examination and the soul either passes or fails and will not be allowed for any reexamination. But in Hinduism such threat is not there.

People have taken a lenient view on the spiritual life because they think that the human rebirths are possible and so they can put up the spiritual effort slowly in the future human births. The Lord cannot say different theories to different people. The rule must be same for all the human beings of the world. Therefore whatever the Lord told in Christianity and Islam also told the same in Hinduism. Hindus misunderstood the concept. Therefore what ever may be the religion, every human being should think “Now or Never”.

The human rebirth is only for Yoga Bhrashta i.e., the soul, which has reached Brahmaloka and fell due to some slip. Such a soul is suspended from Brahmaloka and comes down to the earth and takes rebirth as a human being only. You have passed the P.G. Degree and obtained the post of the lecturer. But you were suspended for a month due to some mistake. You will be re-appointed.

Similarly the Yoga Bhrashta will be born as a human being for some time and will come back to Brahmaloka. The case of incomplete spiritual effort is different from Yoga Bhrashta. The incomplete spiritual person is like a B.A. Degree holder who never achieved the lecturer post. You cannot argue that you can be appointed as a seventy five percent lecturer since you reached seventy five percent of the total educational period (from school to P.G.Degree is hundred percent) by getting a B.A. Degree.

Thus there is no partial achievement by partial spiritual effort. The grace of the Lord is either hundred percent or zero. If it is hundred percent you are reaching Brahmaloka. If it is Zero percent you are falling back to the earth in the cycle of animals and birds. There is no third way in between these two. When this truth is revealed, only one in thousands will try to put the real spiritual effort as said in Gita (Manushyaanaam Sahasreshu). By this Hindus will become alert in spiritual effort like Christians and Muslims.

Oh my Gawd! You are a hybrid of Christianity, Muslim and Hindu - the worst of all three worlds. I think you are barking up the wrong tree on this forum.

Shankara told that one should not aspire the fruit either in this world or in the upper world for divine service done (Ihamutra Phalaviragah….). Today people have no faith in the existence of the very upper world! There is no point of fruit after death. There is no hell from which God can protect us. There is no heaven to receive any happiness after death. There is no Brahma Loka at all. Hence, people want fruits in this world itself. Some people are not sure of the fruit in this world also after doing the service. Hence, they say that if the fruit is given first, the service will be rendered after receiving the fruit. This shows the lack of confidence in God even in the business.

For some, the existence of God itself is doubtful and hence they require the fruit first and then only do some thing in return. Some say that if the fruit is given first, then they will favor God by believing Him. They feel that God wants to increase the percentage of believers in this world. They feel that if the percentage of believers is not maintained, God will loose His Supreme post! In spite of such mean and meaningless mentalities, God is responding to every trend because God is the divine Father and is always anxious of the eternal uplift of the souls. Except for this point, God has no other reason to respond to every attitude of such low levels.
