It is not a question of benefit, it is a question of what persists after death. Facts are indifferent to "benefit."

No, I do not work on the Sabbath, the fourth commandment, "Thou shall now work..."
The devotion will lead you to the abode of God
The good works will lead you to heaven temporarily. The bad works will lead you to hell temporarily till you are transformed at least to a large extent. You may enter even the permanent liquid fire or hell for your endless sin, where you have to stay till you are completely transformed.
Oh Jesus!

You may enter even the permanent liquid fire or hell for your endless sin, where you have to stay till you are completely transformed. The devotion (practical service without aspiration of any fruit in return) will lead you to the abode of God. If your devotion is limited to the energetic forms of the upper world or the past human incarnations, you have to return back from the abode of the God (Abrahma Bhuvanat..Gita). , bla, bla, bla....
I didn't know the Hindus were into proselytizing.
Have you ever died? Do you remember past lives? Do you recall your time between incarnations? If not, you are just blowing smoke out your arse. I don't care if your holy book is six thousand years old, it is still just a bunch of ink on paper written by old men who did not know shyte from shinola. One cannot know the truth about life by hiding in caves contemplating their navels. All they will know is their navels. Life is the only teacher worth anything. All the books in the world will only give you knowledge, but life will give you wisdom - if you are paying attention. If your head is buried in holy books, you are missing life and will be sorely lacking in the wisdom department.

You are a sage, my dear! That is the wisdom of a life well lived, with eyes wide open, brain alert, soaking it all in, the
right way.
Only one Lord created this entire universe. He should have told the same knowledge everywhere in the world. The contradiction is only due to misunderstanding. In Hinduism also Sankara says that again human birth is almost impossible (Jantunaam Nara Janma Durlabhamidam). Sankara was the incarnation of Siva and so what He told is also authoritative. Even Gita says that the soul comes back to this world but does not say that the soul gets again the human birth (Ksheene Punye Martyalokam Visanti). In the second chapter, Gita speaks about rebirth but not about the human rebirth. Islam and Christianity say that the human birth is given only as a single chance. After this the final judgement is given. The soul either goes to the Lord or goes to the hell permanently. In Gita also there are two ways for the soul. Either the soul goes to the Lord and does not return back or the soul returns back to the world (Abrahma Bhuvanath, Yat Gatva). According to Gita, if the soul does not go to the Lord (Brahmaloka), it returns back after enjoying the fruits of incomplete spiritual effort. Therefore in this human birth, if the spiritual effort is completed, the soul goes to the Brahmaloka permanently.I didn't know the Hindus were into proselytizing.

Stick around. He's about to give us our Horus scopes.Oh my Gawd! You are a hybrid of Christianity, Muslim and Hindu - the worst of all three worlds. I think you are barking up the wrong tree on this forum.
Shankara told that one should not aspire the fruit either in this world or in the upper world for divine service done (Ihamutra Phalaviragah….). Today people have no faith in the existence of the very upper world! There is no point of fruit after death. There is no hell from which God can protect us. There is no heaven to receive any happiness after death. There is no Brahma Loka at all. Hence, people want fruits in this world itself. Some people are not sure of the fruit in this world also after doing the service. Hence, they say that if the fruit is given first, the service will be rendered after receiving the fruit. This shows the lack of confidence in God even in the business.Oh my Gawd! You are a hybrid of Christianity, Muslim and Hindu - the worst of all three worlds.
