We'll of course I'm right otherwise you would have told me where I'm wrong!!
Here is another issue you can chew on.
Under the present immigration policy a man and his wife can immigrate to Canada even at 65 years of age.
They can come here and retire when they get here. There is nothing to prevent this from happening presently.
They are entitled to have 100% of their health care paid for as soon as they become citizens.
They are entitled to welfare like anybody else.
If they need hospital care, say knee surgery, they will get EXACTLY the same service the guy worked here all his life and paid taxes here all his, he will get NO extra service for this.
They will also be fully entitled to get into a ling term care facility fully paid by Canadians.
Final note, do you know that in Toronto, 60% of the seniors are immigrants and the general population is made up of only about 22% immigrants..
In Vancouver it's something like 50% are immigrants.
Does this tell you anything????
