Marriage certificates, etc. used to list religion in Canada, but I do not think this is a relevant question today, especially when you're trying to identify the minority of Muslims who are jihadists. How about instead, your passport state whether or not you think 9/11 was justified.

The only true theocracy is the IMPERIUM OF MAN!!!!!!! Death to the heretics and xeno's who bring up arms against the emperor who guides humanity from the golden throne. The emperor protects, pray his gaze watches over you lest you fall victim to the whims of chaos.

Yep, if you could get someone to admit to that you'd have something. :) :) :) :) Good one!

And Hope and Charity too. :)

Should passports identify I.Q.s?

You know the line-up at Customs ... over 100, you get to stay and under 100 you have to get into THAT line (that leads to the chipper, where the process of turning you into nutritious crackers begins).
To whom would I give negs?

Exactly! Religion is a personal thing, and nobodies damn
business unless you're being a dick and thrusting it upon
others. Maybe Passports should identify whether or not
you are a dick, but not your faith, or lack there of....
I loved thrusting my dick upon others but since I got married others became singular.

How can you even table the idea? But anyways muslim places like Iraq require you state your religion when you apply for a temporary residency card. I'd like to think we're past that, especially since church and state are separate.

On a side note in my travels only muslim countries ask for your religion.

Isreal requires (or at least required if it doesn't anymore) converts from the Jewish Faith to register their conversion with the Government.

At least the poll is reassuring. Given the anti-refugee rhetoric, I was expecting everyone to vote to make it obligatory. Though one person did vote for that option!?

you have been watching too many movies.

as stated before,a texas flag could not been found anywhere in Calgary,we needed it and we could not find it.this says everything.

That's funny because back in the summer some Calgary yahoo was running around with a confederate flag on his truck - got lot's of attention too...........thought not the kind he was hoping for, I'm sure.

I'm with us.
Me 2.

My little girl is RN and the most beautiful person I have replicated. She will rule.

And both my sons will bolster her capacity. Soon this planet will be mine. I would be a popular potentate.
A chicken in every pot (Henry IV quotation)? er I mean some pot in every bowl?

But how will we identify who the terrorists are?
They will have brown skin and speak with an accent. Right, Bloomer?

I'm going out on a limb to support the idea of declaring one's faith as long as 'no faith' is an option.
What harm does it do? Why would anyone be reluctant to state his belief?
It could be a question on the census we are going to get. You know, the 'long' form?
You can read statistics of how many religious members there are in any faith. This country is xx% Islamic, Christian, Hindu, etc. So how do they know if they don't keep records?

A chickn in very pot (Henry IV quotation)? er I mean some pot in every bowl?

This reminds me of a similar quote from Richard III "My kingdom for some horse!"

No you should not have to declare your faith on your passport however, if you have a propensity to devour RosaRita refried beans on a daily basis that would have to be noted for the welfare of your fellow travelers.
