I was in a feral cat thread once on a US shooting site, and by the time it was two pages long guys were shouting at each other, calling each other murderers and wimps, pis sing up against the wall, threatening and all kinds of good stuff.

You think that's good stuff? I think that's a little creepy. Evidently you prefer to see people fight than have a conversation. And that makes you a little creepy too.

CO's are paid a salary. I have the personal cell number of our local CO, to call him night or day, no extra expense. Most are willing to go that extra step, because most of the ones I've met got into the business because they appreciate and respect wildlife.

One of my friends' cats has a collection of rabbit heads. Comes home with a few a month in the summer months. We have no idea what he does with the bodies.

That's untrue. You have never replied to a post of mine by criticizing in a positive way. All you do is, as you say, ridicule. You saw me take some heat when I first got here and piled on in a mob mentality. That's the only mentality you have demonstrated.

A 03.06 seems a bit overkill for a cat, unless you've got cougars. Sorry, horrible pun I know, but it was too obvious to let it go by. I find that just the domestic cats in the neighbourhood are bad enough, never mind the feral ones, they dig and crap in the flower beds, kill birds and squirrels, fight with each other and make awful noises... On the other hand, I haven't caught a mouse in the traps in my garage or garden shed for a couple of years, so they're not completely useless, but I shoot at them if I see them lurking around the bird feeders. With a slingshot or a low velocity pellet gun, I don't want to kill anyone's pets, just bruise them so they'll learn to run when I appear at the door.

It sure makes the fur fly doesn't it.
