Sea Levels Are Rising Even Faster Than Previously Thought

It's melting continental ice from Antarctica, Greenland, the Canadian Arctic Archipelago that raises sea levels, not sea ice.
What ice Greenland is shedding at the coasts is being replaced by new snow falls in the interior. All that extra weight will actually speed up the calving all by itself. The calving would cool the nearby water so the moisture in the air already will cool a bit so when it rises when coming ashore it will drop all it's moisture.
If that colder water was to affect weather anyplace it would be the UK and Denmark.

Will the ones on the coast know when to head for higher ground? Will the people inland let the ones on the coast move to higher ground.
Since the ones most affected would be in the South Seas and in the area touched by the tidal wave in '06 so the West and Europe will do nothing and the people will almost all die just because they will get no warning about what is coming.
How much would the oceanic rifts have to expand before the ocean levels began to drop?
If the rising magma affects the surface conditions does the location where magma sinks also have an affect on the surface?

"Global sea level rise is precipitated by two factors: the thermal expansion of oceans due to warming and the increased melting of the polar ice caps"

The expanding rifts would add a lot more heat to the water than the sun could possibly add. Land heats up from exposure to the sun, water heats up where the water is shallow rather than where it is deeper. The warm water also passes that heat off to the atmosphere and the more heat that is being transferred is shown my faster winds in areas that are warming up. The moisture that is transferred would also show if the water is warming or cooling. The atmosphere then transfers the heat to outer space and that is the general path for the majority of the heat that affects earth.
Micro changes are what we call 'daily weather'.
The Pacific blob and another one in the Arctic Ocean by Alaska are showing signs of warming up at the surface. Should the Pacific Rift be expanding at a faster rate and the expansion not only includes heat at temperatures that are similar to the 'smokers' further south along the same rift. Along with heat are minerals and gas that is under extreme pressure and it rises in the water and decompresses along the way. 1 liter of gas at the depth it is released at can be 20,000 times that (or whatever the actual number is) when it exits the water and becomes part of our atmosphere. It is also a good bet that the gas hugs the surface of the water as it would be a heavy gas and those are known to void of O2 so it can also kill O2 breathing animals on the way up through the water as well as when it is above the water. Because of existing currents the place it transfers from the water to the air could be some distance from where it was released some 15,000 ft lower. That distance allows for the material and heat to be 'diluted' so there are no visible signs on the surface of the water.
That heat in the air changes the wind speed and that might change the direction also and that translates to a change in local weather, any questions?
Oh yeah, coffee then type.

I sent them a warning, they will be waiting for you Mr. Seal, Mr. James Seal

Tim Ball eh.....okay. Can you provide any of his scientific papers? I'd like read them.

Land subsidence? From your link...land substinence is most often caused by human activities.

Huh....sort of anthropogenic....eh.

Guess not....shame.

Want to see Tim Ball...here you go...

Dipshit flatlanders. It's an ocean. The tide rises twice every day.

Why don't you ask the people in Florida to prove that it isn't?
Flooding of Coast, Caused by Global Warming, Has Already Begun

South Florida continues prep for sea level rise

South Florida continues prep for sea level rise - Sun Sentinel

Better measure the rate the land mass is sinking, not the sea rising. A's more and more ground water is removes to water golf courses the land naturally sinks. Sorry reality doesn't fit in with your dogma yet again.

Bill Gates bought a stake in the Four Seasons and its Caribean property in 2015. Think he is worried about his island sinking? Trump owns a mansion on St. Maarten bought in 2013 last we checked. Think he's worried? Gates also owns property in Palm Beach bought in 2013. Tech billionaire Larry Ellison has bought 98 per cent of Hawaiian island Lanai. Indian Creek Village in Miami's Biscayne Bay may be on a tiny island, but the neighborhood of just 86 residents is home to some of the biggest A-listers and some of America's richest business moguls.

Can he spell Tim Ball? Do you think we should tell him how to spell Tim Ball?

THE NYTIMES???
the PROVEN FAKE FREAKIN NEWS???

From your NYTIMES link:

ANECDOTAL is NOT EVIDENCE! That's 5 times in 8 years it DIDN'T FLOOD!!!

"According to a New York Times article, a probable estimate for sea level rise in the next 100 to 300 years is five feet."
Climate Change and Sea Level Rise in New Orleans @ Media Nola
"a probable estimate" That is proof?
Like "snow is a thing of the past" is proof?
Pssst! That deadline is past - We STILL HAVE SNOW!

Let's ask the people of Florida shall we, like you said.
"The map above shows areas of Florida that would be flooded at various stages "
Florida Map - Global Warming Sea Level Rise Map
"THAT WOULD BE"...
Oh look, a "hitlary will win prediction". That is NOT PROOF.

Florida "PREPS FOR"? "Preps for" is PROOF? Geezus Doood, are you a teacher?
Only someone who "teaches because they can't do" would consider anything that says
"preps for" as proof of anything.
Preps for what, a HITLARY WIN???
That's NOT PROOF.

LOL, you are a NUT
stop it

Maybe you should check, but subsistence is why some people have tried to claim sea level rise to justify this fake global warming TAX BS in the past.
Thats why I quoted the top sea level measuring expert in the world who says NO SEA LEVEL RISE!!!

Canada's senior (first ever) PHD in climatology.
The official website of Dr. Tim Ball

Any of you "global warming" ( can't be "climate change" the new mantra, that would be maybe, 50% chance of sea level SHRINKAGE TOO) guys know how to read?

Lets do some actual science:
:)

"The USGS Water Science School: "Land Subsidence"

Land subsidence occurs when large amounts of groundwater have been withdrawn from certain types of rocks, such as fine-grained sediments. The rock compacts because the water is partly responsible for holding the ground up.

When the water is withdrawn, the rocks falls in on itself. You may not notice land subsidence too much because it can occur over large areas rather than in a small spot, like a sinkhole. That doesn't mean that subsidence is not a big event -- states like California, Texas, and Florida have suffered damage to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars over the years.

Looks the NY TIMES is a LIAR AGAIN, and I guess also that BAR is MISTAKEN,
and because of uneducated voters like that I have to pay a carbon TAX too?
That sucks. ( and you are the people that support vaccination too)
:(

Wow what an incredibly long series of nonsense. You must have worked on your answer for hours. Fortunately the length and height of a pile of BS does not change the fact that it is BS. I'm beginning to wonder about you, Bonehead. I suspect that if someone punched you in the nose you would brag that you'd given his fist a severe pounding.

Nice of you to point that the Dumpster's property in right in the path of a storm surge, as is any coastal property in Florida. Indian Creek might be safe, it is on the other side of a barrier bar. As for your other examples they are pure nonsense given the fact that if you buy land on high ground it is probably safe - even in Florida. Hawaii, BTW is a particularly poor example, given the fact that the islands are still emerging from the ocean. And I've been to St. Maarten. Most of the island is high above the surrounding water.
