At the north pole, the ice is already in the water, and the laws of displacement dictate that as/if they melt, no sea level change will take place re ice in water.
At the south pole the ice is increasing.

It's melting continental ice from Antarctica, Greenland, the Canadian Arctic Archipelago that raises sea levels, not sea ice.

Not really too surprising as both Greenland and Antarctica are thawing but not really a worry as they are likely to get a cold snap for an extended period. Cycles are just a part of climate.
