BIG SURPRISE HERE!
But but but...

People who support something like a carbon tax and trust the government not to dump it into general revenue are gullible at best and plain stupid at worst. This was the plan all along just like the GST.

Wake the **** up Canada.

How B.C.’s formerly ‘revenue neutral’ carbon tax turned into another government cash grab

Charles Lammam and Taylor Jackson: The carbon tax will result in a cumulative $865 million tax increase on British Columbians — so much for revenue neutrality

How B.C.

But wait. Here's another link.

Hey BC, wanna buy some magic beans?

I doubt even magic beans could get us out of the quagmire Horgan and Weaver have put us in, pete. Not that they won't be scrambling for any tiny bit of hope that they can somehow, someway come out of this with their unholy alliance still in tact and the government still standing.

This hearkens back to Sen. John Kerry on The Big Dig in Boston...

Not one of you checked out the date of that article to be Feb 2017?

I'm shocked.

Shocked!

Anyway, here's the neutrality factor into 2018:

To improve affordability, government is increasing the Low Income Climate Action tax credit to $135 per adult and $40 per child for 2018 and continuing the Northern and Rural Homeowner Benefit (up to $200 per household).

Sorry to burst your delusional conbot bubbles.

Carry on.

So rebates on heating oil instead of investing in a vaster NG network?

Makes perfect sense in battling emissions.

It also hearkens back to the Glen Clarke Fast Ferry fiasco also under an NDP government here in BC, Eagle or the huge cost over-runs on the Vancouver Island highway. The NDP can't seem to keep themselves stumbling from one disaster to another whilst trying to cheat charities out of funds - reference Bingo Gate.

Yes, we're already aware you leave the garage door closed while you do that.
