I never stopped my distrust for the Soviets. They have no claim in Ukraine and Ukrainians want nothing to do with Russian Soviets were left behind or those who stole a piece of industry.
No matter how many locals vote for having Russia as a partner over NATO? The spin machine is going to fall apart on this one,. about time.

Have you ever negotiated with someone you don't like, don't respect, and don't fear? There's a terrible temptation to jerk them around by negotiating in bad faith. I think that's what Putin is doing with the Euro Peons on the Ukrainian conflict.

Ever been wrong, why fuk you best customers over would be argument #1 against your theory. Paying in cash isn't a punishment when your customers are 'hostile'.

Who said I did, Russia offered the Ukraine a better deal that NATO did. If you loved the place you would know that in your heart. You really should have watched the NWO/China vid as it covered the Ukraine area and some of it's history. Your loss, not mine. Here is the West plans for the Ukraine, you really think that is such a good deal as it means a lot of 'your people' would die. That doesn't bother the West and the bill for the weapons will be paid in full and at interest.
Ukraine Crisis: US House Backs $1B Lethal Aid To Ukraine As Obama Warns Putin Ahead Of Minsk Talks

Economic power follows geopolitical power. As Russia's economic power vis a vis the Euros fades, the temptation to advance its interests through geopolitical power increases.
They do better by selling products and then they don't have the expense of running the place or helping the people adopt themseves int the 21st century where business outweighs war.

Now it's the new world order preventing Ukrainians from a better life of being robbed blind and oppressed by crooked Soviets for another 95 years?

Are you an inbred Bolshevik Doukhabor?

The French and the Germans can't go too hard on the Russians because they rely on the Russians for much of their gas supply.

It's not really European affairs, is it? It's Russian and Ukrainian affairs.

The fact of the matter is that France and Germany get a huge amount of their gas from Russia, which could turn off the taps at any moment. That's why Hollande and Merkel are in desperate talks with the Russians and Ukrainians about the situation in Ukraine and why they won't dare to go too hard on the Russians. Russia supplying much of Germany's gas is the main reason why Germany has been taking a soft approach on Russia and not wanting to go too hard on her.

Britain isn't dependent on Russian gas at all, unlike most of Continental Europe, including France and Germany. See map above.

So which is it? You sure made a good case for calling a European affair.

EU Must Lift Anti-Russia Sanctions if Minsk Measures Implemented - Experts / Sputnik International
Experts consider that there is no ground for further sanctions on Russia over the Ukrainian crisis if the Minsk agreements are implemented.
MOSCOW (Sputnik), Alexander Mosesov — The European Union should lift the sanctions it imposed on Russia over the Ukrainian crisis if the measures agreed in Minsk are implemented, experts told Sputnik on Thursday. On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande met in the Belarusian capital of Minsk for almost 15 hours, and agreed on a package of measures to end the eastern Ukrainian conflict.
Should these measures be implemented — an unconditional ceasefire, constitutional reform by Kiev with a focus on Ukraine's decentralization, withdrawal of all foreign armed groups, equipment and mercenaries from eastern Ukraine — the EU sanctions currently in place against Russia would become redundant.

That's fine, it will be the reason for his stepping down at the insistence of Germany and the rest of the EU minus the UK. They are about to become the red-headed step-child, a role they were bred to fulfill.

Vladimir Putin arrives at an airport, gets in line at customs desk.

Customs officer: Occupation?

Putin: No, just visiting.

One thing's for sure - am very glad Obama is not in the picture because it's none of his godd@mn business.

Quite right.

Except our leader made it a point of getting all up in Poutine's bizness and now he is nowhere to be seen.

To be fair, there are quite a few closets in Parliament.
