29% is, coincidentally, Trump's support numbers in the United States and Alberta. Russia loves her 29%, eh?

And NASA is run by the Illumninati and is why it is obsessed with the number 33, such as Runway 33 at the Kennedy Space Center, launchpad 33 at White Sands, the X-33, the first lunar landing was at 33 degrees descent, numerous shuttle launches with Sirius at 33 degrees in the sky, NASA GSFC building 33...

TONY PARSONS So Vlad we have Theresa May to defend us from ruthless Russia

Prime Minister Theresa May has earned the respect of the nation this week with her strong response to Russia using a nerve agent on British soil

DID Russia really expect this country to meekly turn the other cheek when a chemical weapon was used on British soil?

Why on Earth would we do that?

Russian president Vladimir Putin appears to have underestimated Britain

Because temperatures are falling again and we rely on Russian gas to heat our homes?

Because Russian money is sloshing around all over London, inflating property prices to unprecedented levels?

Because we were looking forward to going to the Russian World Cup?

How little they know us!

A car is taken away by investigators in Salisbury, Wiltshire

We can — and must — learn to live without all of it.

Russian gas, Russian money, Russia’s World Cup. The lot.

For what happened in Salisbury was terrorism, a reckless and obscene act of terrorism with a military-grade nerve agent so toxic that its use is banned in warfare.

Russia has treated this country with total contempt and now they are doing their best to bully us into surrender.

Police in protective clothing have become a common sight around Salisbury

But if the history of this country teaches us anything, it is that the British can never be bullied.

Novichok nerve agent is produced by the Russian state.

If it was not the Russian state that used it in Salisbury on former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, also infecting police sergeant Nick Bailey, then it was used by someone who clearly bought, borrowed or obtained it from the Russian state.

You can’t buy a military-grade nerve agent in a pub. Not even a pub in Moscow.

Police sergeant Nick Bailey was in a critical condition after coming into contact with the nerve gas

If Vladimir Putin had any semblance of respect for this country or for international law, and if the Russian state truly had no part in this atrocity, then the Russian president would have offered full cooperation in discovering the identity of the perpetrators. But he is not interested.

Putin does not give a fig about hurt feelings in this country, or for exposing the British people to the horrors of chemical weapons.

The Kremlin hard nut has promised that Russians who betray their country will be severely punished.

And he is as good as his word.

Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia are fighting for their lives after a nerve agent attack

I carry no torch for Sergei Skripal, a double agent who betrayed hundreds of his own side for money and a life in the West, and I wish with a passion that he had never been allowed to settle in the UK, whatever service he provided for our spooks.

Most of us could not give a damn if Russian thugs kill each other in their own country.

What matters is that Russians are attempting to kill each other on British soil with weapons that are considered too poisonous to be used in a war zone.

And that puts every one of us in danger.

Theresa May showed strength and restraint this week

You can argue that Theresa May did not go far enough in kicking out 23 Russian “diplomats” and banning our royals and big shots from attending the World Cup.

What you can’t argue with was her tone — controlled, determined and quietly furious that anyone should believe they can get away with using chemical weapons on British soil.

Defending our nation and our people is the most important role for any British prime minister.

Without any hint of grandstanding or playing for the cameras, Theresa May looked every inch a leader capable of standing up to Russian aggression.

And if there is one good thing that has come out of the use of a chemical weapon in a quiet cathedral city, then it is that suddenly our country feels united once more.

The one glaring exception is Jeremy Corbyn, Putin’s grizzled glove puppet, who proved beyond any doubt that he will always take the side of any enemy against this country.

This loathing of his own country makes Corbyn unfit to be Prime Minister and unfit to lead Labour, a party that never lacked patriotism until it was run by the current gaggle of groupie apologists for terrorists.

Defending your country is beyond party politics.

It should be instinctive, a love and patriotism that abides in your blood and bones.

Putin operates as if he can do whatever he wants

But Corbyn could not have made it any clearer, he will always kiss the feet of all those who despise us. Hamas. The IRA. Putin.

No enemy of this country sinks too low for Corbyn.

Cold War Two has begun.

I think we would be stark raving mad to go to Russia’s World Cup.

It would convey legitimacy on a rogue regime and it would also endanger the lives of every English football fan crazy enough to go.

If England go to the World Cup while the Putin regime is whipping up rabid anti-British sentiment, then we will come to regret it.

England should seriously consider boycotting this summer's World Cup

And the pity of it all is that many of us were brought up to respect and admire the people of Russia.

I was raised on stories of how the Russians lost 25 million people in the war against Nazi Germany, and how Russia shouldered the greatest burden in the fight against Hitler, and how the modern world has too quickly forgotten the Russians were once our great allies and friends.

But there is no trace of that brave, noble, heroic Russia in Vladimir Putin’s reckless rogue state.

And Theresa May has just sent them the only possible response to this violation of our country.

We are not going to take it.

New energy

THIS deep freeze and frosty relations with Russia mean that our thoughts must inevitably turn to fracking. Extracting shale gas from our own backyard is the only answer to our energy needs. The alternative is relying on a hostile power to keep us warm. When they would far prefer it if we froze to death.

Theresa May has found the confidence to engage with the public

POLITICIANS invariably look embarrassing when they try to get a bit too edgy, street and down with the youth.

William Hague looked ridiculous in his baseball cap.

Tony Blair looked an even bigger tosspot than usual strumming his electric guitar in a suit and tie.

But somehow Theresa May got away with a fist bump in Salisbury.

It should have been as excruciating as Philip Hammond giving you a high five, but it was charming.

May is finally finding her kitten-heeled feet. And people are finally starting to like her.

Russia's economy is smaller than what Italy's is, and we are being told that Russia is trying to take over the World.

Also, I have been comparing media sources these past few days .... there is a very huge difference between Russian media within Russia itself and what is being broadcast in the West via RT or Russia Today.

Inside Russia proper, the gloves are off and the anti-West commentary is very-very strong and brutal. No wonder Putin won the vote. The Russian People are totally pissed off.

Russian people are basically very stupid people, they are easily manipulated by those in power.

Yup, Putin is shaking in his boots when it comes to the UK's prowess.

In fairness to the Brits, they are defending a Homeland that is 1/3 of the size of Texas and the Russians need to cover one that is twice the size of Canada.

What's REALLY scandalous is OUR tiny capability (in spite of the heroic efforts of our Forces to punch above our weight in spite of an indifferent Canada)

And the National Defence was always one of the first, if not the first, department to be cut back or maintenance delayed.

You can start with tater tot's father and his systemic dismantling of the Canadian Forces.

Awfully tough to recover from all those years that he gutted that program

Dief started that. No votes in Saskatchewan for building supersonic fighters in Malton or supporting a North Atlantic escort carrier group in Halifax.
