BTW, what is Ontario going to do to increase the electricity supply after everone is forced to buy a $40,000 plug-in?
I'll bet that they burn something ... natural gas, for sure so that we will heat our houses with electricity. They won't build any more nuclear because Greenpeace won't like it so ... COAL! ... or buy it from the grid down south where they burn ... you guessed it ... Pennsylvania athracite!
As economist Ross McKitrick has pointed out, even the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the leading light for climate-change scientists, has suggested a point at which the economic costs of eliminating carbon are more damaging to people and society than the climate impact from the same amount of carbon.
Yep, just went to "creepy-old-guy warning" status.Nothing , but how do lesbian's have grandchildren ?
BC is the leading economic province in the country and reducing carbon emissions.

At the end of last week, the four major political parties in Norway arrived at a tentative agreement that would eliminate the sale of fossil fueled automobiles by the year 2025. The news media reported the agreement as an accomplished fact, but actually, it is still awaiting approval by the government. More talks are scheduled as early as Monday.
Other countries are not far behind. Political leaders in the Netherlands are also proposing a ban on fossil fuel cars by 2025. India also is considering a requirement that all new cars be electric by 2030.

The drunk driving penalties in Norway are outrageous so most people travel by boat .No restrictions on motor vessels .Given that an electric car can't drive more than a couple of hours without a recharge, I think that this is a rather foolish move. Of course Norway ain't that big so perhaps driving from fjord A to fjord B in an electric car isn't a big deal. With Canada 2nd largest landmass in the world, I think the challenges would be greater.
Also, I think they may find that if everybody does what they are doing they may find themselves without their big source of revenue which allows them to be well off as opposed to like Venezuela.
Poor old mom died years ago , it was a sad day . She went out back to visit the other house and never returned .Yep, just went to "creepy-old-guy warning" status.
