Iheard about "Ontarios climate change action plan" today on the radio, what a load of usless ideas . I reccomend long prison sentences.

For what? driving Hummers?

BTW, what is Ontario going to do to increase the electricity supply after everyone is forced to buy a $40,000 plug-in?

I'll bet that they burn something ... natural gas, for sure so that we will heat our houses with electricity. They won't build any more nuclear because Greenpeace won't like it so ... COAL! ... or buy it from the grid down south where they burn ... you guessed it ... Pennsylvania athracite!

Precisely why I suggested long prison sentences, these politicians are neck deep in fraud.
That fraud will become the greatest con game ever run against humanity. There is no science to suggest that humans can alter the climate of this planet. The physics of the one side is virtually infinitely powerful the physics of the other isnt even noticable. They are two vastly different scales.

The dollar's gone up.

Well then lets hope when it goes up higher the BC economy for tourism, foreign investment, consumer products and agriculture don't get hit..... Those are cited as the main things holding their diverse economy together

Now im curious as to how BC agriculture is benefiting now while Ontarios seems to be struggling in comparison?

Zero Emissions Movement Picking Up Speed In Other Countries - Gas 2

At the end of last week, the four major political parties in Norway arrived at a tentative agreement that would eliminate the sale of fossil fueled automobiles by the year 2025. The news media reported the agreement as an accomplished fact, but actually, it is still awaiting approval by the government. More talks are scheduled as early as Monday.

Other countries are not far behind. Political leaders in the Netherlands are also proposing a ban on fossil fuel cars by 2025. India also is considering a requirement that all new cars be electric by 2030.

Always nice when a government comes up with a plan to buy votes today but leaves the bills for another election or two away.

Will Norway quit producing diesel powered mining equipment for export?

Probably about the same time those nice Swedish people quit selling weapons to anybody with cash.

I get a kick out of the Oerlikon brand naval guns that come out of Switzerland ... the current go-to place for large naval gunnery.

Switzerland?

Naval guns?

Really?

And all the sitting members of the 4 major political parties will be out of office and comfortably living off their pensions by 2025 . Other's will have to clean up the mess .

Given that an electric car can't drive more than a couple of hours without a recharge, I think that this is a rather foolish move. Of course Norway ain't that big so perhaps driving from fjord A to fjord B in an electric car isn't a big deal. With Canada 2nd largest landmass in the world, I think the challenges would be greater.

Also, I think they may find that if everybody does what they are doing they may find themselves without their big source of revenue which allows them to be well off as opposed to like Venezuela.
The drunk driving penalties in Norway are outrageous so most people travel by boat .No restrictions on motor vessels .

Yep, just went to "creepy-old-guy warning" status.

As to your question, ask your mom. She shoulda covered this years ago.
Poor old mom died years ago , it was a sad day . She went out back to visit the other house and never returned .
