Well we know that one is sh!t or I would have been born rich.
Ya well, we all do and have to draw straws

Yes, but that explains nothing and justifies nothing. The reason is simply because in this context that's what the word means, belief without evidence. It's just the word for that particular state of mind. It's called faith for a reason.
That's why God left a book that is 'complicated' even today. Should the people start looking at it as if it was written to this generation in a way that makes us 'slow on the uptake' and the singular writer taking a style that a father uses with a 3 year old that is stubborn and slow and you have a version that fits the text of the book. He does give you the info but you still have to sort through it at your own speed. That is when you can decide if you have faith in the book or not.Religion is the delusion of the masses, there's no compelling reason to believe any of its claims are true. There is nothing even close to a consensus about faith claims. Evidence and logic can at least offer compelling reasons for believing some claim is true; religion cannot, and in fact prides itself on being unable to, as if believing something without evidence were a virtue. It's not.
Smooth sailing?Religion is like a boat
Paddle your own canoe.
That is assuming there is no patch for the 'hole'. The return is the most talked about event in the Bible so there is lots of material to 'question' and then you can decide how many holes there are. Apparent contradiction are not like actual contradictions with no solution available.Yep, you poke a hole in it, it sinks!![]()

I said it, and so have a lot of other people whose judgment I respect. What is the evidence? You've been trying to lay it out for us here for years as at least two different users, and it's so compelling that you've convinced everybody that you're right. Right?Who said: no evidence. The evidences are there..
Depends, Jesus promoting dropping out of a congregation if it was corrupt. The Temple was a corrupt place in the era the 4 Gospels cover and this verse would apply more to the Churches of today than the 'get out of her' teaching.Religion is a dirty word these days but it was not made so by the truely religious.

Let's say God wanted to sow confusion about if He was real or not. The flood is based on one year in the Bible or 360 days (actual time differs) and it is meant to be one year but God is basing that time on the time the last ice age lasted or in this case 360,000 years based on out counting but under a period where 1,000 years is one day that would be a flood that lasted 360 'days'. To further fuk with men's minds God used both, the 'natural ice age' and flood that 'smaller in scale' and only the animals in the garden area in Ge:2 needed to be on the boat. But but but but

Science says the oceans rose 400 ft so all the flood stories (almost 300) should be based on facts but at different locations, another way to confuse the minds of men and a way for God to hide His tracks. A Believer would not read that faith is through reading only and then go and dig up half the places mentioned looking for proof. That is what a stubborn 3 year old would do who has a leaning handi-cap. A wise man as far as God is concerned.

Yeah, believers always say something like that. Waste of your time and energy, nobody's listening, but thanks anyway, I do appreciate the sentiment that moves you. It's beyond your ken. I'll pray for you.
